Tomm Posted February 4, 2005 Report Share Posted February 4, 2005 I don't think the 5p trick works for FSA BBs (I've tried it), because they have a larger hole. M14 instead of M13 or something. Anyway, I've managed to bodge it a few times with some washers, but it's hardly ideal. As someone said, you can get a little widget that comes with FSA BBs that allows you to use a normal extractor. CRC used to do a large grub screw which screws into the axel to give the extractor something to push against. I've got one... somewhere. I always use the 5p method because it's easier for me. Corish Posted February 4, 2005 Report Share Posted February 4, 2005 You slide it down so its resting against the bolt on the other side, so it goes stright through, then the crank tool has something to push against. I might have not been a piston....its about 7mm think 15cm long. Did the job though!
