I'm curious as to how representative of the UK in general the political views of Trials Forum are... let us know how you did/would have voted yesterday and we can see how the totals compare overall to the national results.

Hopefully I've got all the key parties (listings drawn from the BBCs league tables). If you select "other" please let us know who you did/would be voting for.

She got 157 votes. Have a look here.

Anyone else looking to follow the results in detail would do well to use the BBC's rather useful scoreboard.

I didn't vote in the only seat in the North-West to have been taken by the Tories (LAncaster). Oh well. Where I live in Manchester, we now have a Lib Dem MP, so that's good I guess.

Har har @ BNP, UKIP and Kilroy (Y)

Some very intresting results (Y)

They were talking about this on the radio and apparently schools over the country have done their own polls and on average the Lib Dems got 75% which will make the next election very intresting indeed (Y)"

Goddamn people still voting for Labour. What is wrong with people?

Even worse, the BNP are getting quite a significant percentage of votes in some constituencies. I would be tempted to suggest anyone caught voting BNP should be immediately lobotomised, but they evidently already have.

I don't really understand. Would you rather see a Tory government? I know it's not great that we have only 2 real choices, but that's how it is.

Wouldn't vote for either of them, Labour are just the Tories in disquise and they're both totally untrustworthy.

I voted Lib Dem as they seemed more trustworthy and had the least amount of policies I totally disagreed with. They didn't really get involved with negative campaigning as much either which was certainly good to see.

Did anyone see that comeday on C4 at 10:45? Bremner bird and fortune or summit. Really cleverly taking the mick out of the parties. Funny as fook because aloy of it was quite true!

I vote for the Lesser of two evils, Labor. They have achived alot esp. in the economy. Many of there problems, eg. the NHS could not be fixed by other parties. The country is on the verg of a possible ression and Gordon brown is the best man to deal with it.

ps. If any of them told us the truth no one would vote.

I really love Europe, and the shite currency they possess. Hence the fact UKIP are my vote.

The rest are a bunch of children in suits shouting at each other.

"Mr Blair did this, Mr Blair sadi that" Instead of slagging each other off, try telling us what you're gonna do for ME. not on the whole, I want to know what I'LL gain.

They're all wankers IMO

ultimately (and sadly) all that most voters (bear in mind the majority are probably 25+) care about is the economy and their precious money. whilst they have a stable job, income, home & mortgage in a strong economy as they do now - they're not gonna risk that by voting elsewhere, and are probably quite happy the way things are - whatever goes on in IRAQ and whatever other issues there are.

It's an absolute disgrace that they should take away the pound coin! It's a symbol of this country and I'd rather die than use "euros". Bloody foreign-lovers in Whitehall, we should kill them all.

/sarcasm.

Seriously, do you know about the effect that being part of the single currency will have, or do you feel some kind of alliegance to the pound coin?

The yorkshire post yesterday had an article where they interviewed a bunch of people about how they were gonna vote. Most of the labor voters views were 'I wanna vote lib dem but I don't want another tory government, so I am voting labour' I think this was quite an important factor for labour getting into power, especially with people 30+

lib dem for me though (Y)

We seem to have a load of Facists on this board, 4 votes for the British Nazi Party.

I'd rather like to keep control of our economy rather then hand it over to a bunch of undemocratic overpaid euro-monkeys. Especially as it is in much better shape then the economies of european countries. Not to mention that its just another step towards a european state.

Let us make that giant leap towards being part of one big unified Europe, just as the Fuhrer intended.
