rambo Posted February 3, 2007 Report Share Posted February 3, 2007 jojo what year was the fork build because i broke my monty fork 221 ti (2004) to ad the exact place but it happened almost 2 years ago and i sanded a email with pictures to www.monty.es and the told me that it could be one of those incorrect build ones (the first production series) and the sanded me a new one . Steerer is no thinner than on my jump bikes old trailblades. Cro-moly is though stuff, those trailblades were strong as hell. Problem comes when you drill a whole in a high stress area.
