Dan6061
Was fiddling with my phone's settings earlier...Forgot my pin, so I guessed it, asked for PUK code.Entered that in wrong, and now it's saying PUK Blocked.According to some people, I need a new sim card. I have about 10 of those free ones, but I really need my phone tonight...And I have all my contacts, and credit saved on my old sim. Is there any way I can unblock it tonight? I might have to ring customer services, but they're open from 8am - 8pm. Orrr...is there a way I can transfer my number etc over to this new SIM? Ifyourno on o2 ur f**ked! lol!Yeah..But the PUK is blocked..Not the PIN. It's giving me no option to enter any codes.. just says 'PUK Blocked' and that's it...Oh, and I get this even when I do try:PUK - system unavailable Sorry The system is currently unavailable and we are working to restore this as soon as possible. Dan6061
It will ask you to input the PUK code when you put your new sim in Ok, cheers.Just need to know if it's possible at all, to access the numbers on there? - As it'd be much easier than asking everyone I know again...It's a Samsung D600 btw.. Will it ask me to re-enter it, ever again? ...or shall I just throw it away?
Orgun_Donor
To be honest, everything is more likely to be saved to the phone, sim can only hold like 10 numbers, and 10 messages.
Alan
To be honest, everything is more likely to be saved to the phone, sim can only hold like 10 numbers, and 10 messages.Well thats wrong, I save all my numbers to my sim incase my phone breaks or a get a new phone, and i have 110 contacts saved. Barbra
By default your phone saves all the numbers and stuff to the phone so unless you purposely selected 'save to sim' you should have all your numbers still there.

Walleee
By default your phone saves all the numbers and stuff to the phone so unless you purposely selected 'save to sim' you should have all your numbers still there.the information in this thread is nuts you guys are talking too many half truths. If you enter a PUK code in incorrectly it will totally lock down the phone, hen you insert a new sim card you need to enter the PUK code to unlock it.Once that's done, depending on your phone settings, your contacts may have been saved on your original sim card, or may have been saved on the phone, but it is totally dependant on the manufacture wether contacts are saved to the phone as default or not, not all phones save to their own memory as suggested above, infact some ask you when saving each individual number.you'll just have to wait and see basically, i don't know if those wee gizmo's you can buy that read sim cards will work on a blocked one, but they might be worth checking out.http://www.iwantoneofthose.com/usb-sim-car...ader/index.htmlyou can get them cheaper than that for sure. But it used to be that way, many many years ago when i first got a phone.
