I've taken to wearing a tennis skirt in the summer months - you're totally free to move and you get a lovely cooling draught

Haha I just wear tracky bottoms at the moment as it's too cold for shorts but in the summer I will maybe start wearing shorts if its nice and hot. I feel more protected though when I wear tracksuit bottoms.

Oh yes, I got the old animal shorts out for the first time yesterday, bring on global warming. And as for the comments saying "I feel as though I am more protected with joggers on"...................... Is a piece of 2mm thick material going to hold back the deadly grip of a pedal... I somehow fear not.

I personally wear shorts because of the heat, although it hurts.

Not really, you don't exactly ride much or hard Jennings, do you?

I wear shorts everynow and again, mainly because it gets hot, but it looks silly wearing pads with shorts so I tend to sway to trousers more.

I don't like unprotected shins. :(

shorts when it's really hot. jeans most of the time.

need to get a new pair of emo jeans for riding now. get some stretchy ones, all the benefits of lycra and emo in one package. fashionable with trials shoes or converse chuck taylors. (Y)
