  1. Haha, you remind me of myself, a year or so ago while I was looking for a dog.
  2. Well thats Flipp told! Buh! Reminds me of a UK24 a little. I think the 999mm was more aimed at wanting 1000mm WB but Marino working to +/- 1mm tolernaces.
  3. The restrictions having a dog imposes on you are hard to deal with. Ive had my Airedale for a year now and it’s definitely changed me (for the worse). Fancy going to meet some friends after work for a catch up? f**k no! The dog you left in the kitchen 6 hours ago needs out to do a shit! Sorry friends. Fancy going away for the weekend. Stick the dog in the kennels which will cost you a fortune ontop of your dirty weekend. Ooh, there’s a deal in Tesco on dog food. £5 for a bag that'll last a month. Ooops, no, she doesn’t like that food because it gives her the shits. Shits all over the place, wants out every 10 minutes to do more watery shits...Looks like its back on the £60 bags then. Ahh, the weekend, time to get out on the bike/track day/do whatever you f**king want day... Nope, its walk the f**king dog/look after the dog/ dog f**kity dog day. I guess what im trying to say is... Don’t get a f**king dog.
  4. I recently had a problem with my saint set up. Took rotors off. Dishwasher'd them. Scrubbed them in the sink with fairy liquid. Then poured boiling water over them, then cold water right after. It was only after doing all of that, that when I wiped my finger on the rotor, no more black shite was coming off it. I also WD40'd the calipers. Scrubbed them with a brush, then dipped them in warm water with fairy liquid too and scrubbed them clean inside and out. Changed the pads out for standard shimano sintered on the front and EBC reds on the back, so I could try both and decide which I liked best. So far the sintered are MUCH better. But! I think my back brake needs a bleed and a bit of TLC at the lever, so cant say for sure yet but im pretty certain the sintered shimanos are going to be better. Also, your point about the on/off of the maggies. If you get your saint working like it should, it'll be just as good as your maggie set up. Honestly, my front brake is leathal!
  5. Repost? http://dangerousminds.net/comments/awesome_woman_performs_bike_tricks_20_years_before_bmx_flatland_style_1965
  6. My girlfriend just had a Chinese student in her club called Zoo! Oh how I chuckled.

  8. It was part of a goodie bag given out when I took part in the redbull mini drome a few years back. Looks better than having nothing on there eh? I think so anyway
  9. Yea I do love my king! It's a "good one". Brakes are working now too! I think the sintered shimano ones are working better than the EBC reds though, Leon. I've lost faith in your judgment. (Not that I ever had any in the first place )
  10. Looks cracking dude. Looking forward to seeing what these stickers will look like on it.
  11. Best part was seeing Dave Sowerbys foot. Naa, that was flippin awesome!
  12. Yea, that's done. Bash ring bolts come tomorrow then updated pics...
  13. I think I might cut the ends of my dropout off so it ends and the edge of my funn bolts. Meeehh. I'm not so keen on the bmx cranks look. Much prefer a more squared off crank to a rounded one. Cheers anyway
  14. Cheers, Family. Once all the work to the build is completed ill post some better pics.... ....for you all to quote like retards
  15. Quite enjoyed that. Good work orange bike man.
  16. Not everyday Hans Rey signs a poster for you... Also, he has his own beer? Catch up Danny, catch up.
  17. Thanks guys. You can buy the forks separate yes. Edit: Think they come in at 90usd. So, what 50 quid or something? I'd have to check the exchange rate.
  18. Did you really have to quote the pictures? It’s cluttering my thread! Something a graphic designer should be conscious of. Anyway, the steerer is now chopped. You won’t catch me paying 5p for a bag to hang off my bike. The weekly shop gets emptied into my boot like a bin lorry. Took the rotors and brakes off last night. Front was non-existent and the back was shoddy at best. Will be trying a few things to get them working properly.
  19. The companies I spoke to, which may bear absolutely no relevance to your case, were - Air Sea Scotland, Uni Serve, PTC Freight and Constantine (who specialize in private (non corporate) imports) Customs may also ask for your VAT number if it looks like the imported goods are going to be sold on... Good luck persuading them they're not! hahaha!!!
  20. Little photo update. Colour change. Couple of things left to do. Cut steerer, add 3 more bash bolts, sort brake hoses, new QR....but yea, here it is anyway.
  21. Yea man, thats pretty heavy. Did you use the Tarty scales or the TF scales?
