  1. Food for thought, it could sit in the ideal spot where it's not horrendously short then, but not mega modern long
  2. Enquiring as to the CS and the WB to the seller - it does look super long, think I might wait for something a little shorter to pop up. I mean it's mint, I reckon I can get him down to £75 for the lot posted.. but it's a waste if it's not right.. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/26-Giant-Trials-Frame-Fork-With-Trialtech-Stem-Not-Onza-Echo-Bargain/323623026090?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649
  3. Yes that is the one! You know much about is Ross?
  4. That thing was a monstrosity! I mean imagine the body shape needed to tap Yeah it does look a little longer compared to the Hawzee model, so curious if anyone owned one and how it rode.. possibly the comp frame, it was their last gasp in the market (even though everyone else was using 4 bolt then). Cheers!
  5. Asking the hive mind. Spotted one of the later Giant Trials frames with forks and stem on a popular internet auction site. Considering a retro 26" build - what were these like? I never rode one... Anyone had one and able to give me some insight if worthwhile going for and building up a streety / old school build? Thanks, Brett
  6. This was always my go to for geo in the "old days" - so it depends which Zebdi you were aiming at? http://free-du.htnet.hr/trials/frames.html
  7. Cheers all. Wanted Ad is up for a Hex Frame to get me started. As the 2019 frame kit isn't on Tarty yet
  8. Hahaha. Had a Marino a number of years ago.. was tempted again, then saw what was happening!
  9. Already following you on FB anyway to see the development projects in play - will be keeping an eye out on the frames!
  10. It does seem Hex is pretty much the only thing on modern market that would work. Failing that, scouring sites for an Ashton that's not a shed. I have to agree with Mikee a bit that it's almost become two ends of a spectrum, with not a lot in the middle anymore..
  11. Been out the game for a number of years and a few months back I purchased a TGS machine to get back into trials again. However the more I have been riding it, the more I am missing a bike that is a little more 'all round'. So something a little shorter, but not full street? It can bunny hop AND back wheel without too much difficulty? May or may not have a seat? Do they still exist? I know there is an argument that with the right set up and practice you can do it all on one bike - with some prime examples.. however personal preference, I adored my black Ashton Justice, great GEO, worked as a bunny hopper and a back wheel machine!
  12. In the bottom left of your first post, there is the option to edit it. Moving it is a different matter, not sure if they still have the rules for x posts before being able to post in the sales / wanted section. Or if a Moderator can move this thread to Wanted. Or you just go to the wanted section and post a wanted ad fresh.
  13. You would be best off sticking this in the Wanted Section. Elaborating a bit on: What kind of bike (Mod / 24" / Stock) How much is not much money (so people know if they are around your budget) Good luck on your hunt
  14. Yeah it's a beast, but so good! How's the hunt for your perfect build?
  15. After a good number of years of not having a trials bike, decided to spend a bit of money on one to relive my youth. @Herbertlemon102 sorted me out with the following setup.. great spec - splined cranks, Carthy parts, carbon bars, ti bolts. A few bits will need upgrading in the near future. But for now after a few rides it is good to get back playing again! Getting used to having a TGS style bike is different after a 24" but it's fun to re-learn!
  16. Hi all, I have recently moved to near High Wycombe (though originally from Reading) and I purchased a TGS machine a few months back. Are there any riders in the Wycombe or even Reading areas that still ride and fancy a roll about with a very rusty rider.. Cheers, Brett
  17. Practice! The more comfortable on getting onto the back wheel either through hopping or just weight movement the easier it will be to stay on the back. It takes time to find the right balance point for whatever move you are setting up for.. Might be worthwhile having a play with your bar and brake position as well so that you are comfortable when you are up there and not trying to get yourself into a position where it isn't easy to adjust.
  18. I seem to remember a story doing the rounds that Hawzee was doing a roll down and got his nuts sucked between his tyre and Magura brace? Probably crap, just remember looking at the gap on mine thinking f*#k that!!
  19. My old bible for 26" frames I enjoyed riding
  20. According to this it is 406mm http://free-du.htnet.hr/trials/frames.html
  21. I think it's something like this: 400mm chain stays 22" top tube 74 degree head tube 76 degree seat tube 14" was the seat tube / height? I did have it written down as I was going to Marino one a long time ago..
  22. The quality of that video compared to nowadays makes me feel old! I remember watching it first time around on their site and thinking it was insane, along with Dirt and Chainspotting
  23. I don't think it was ever released, leaving the option of taking the audio from the DVD or YouTube videos with the talking etc. in it. As least the bonus of doing that is every time you hear it you reminisce about the riding
