  1. Hi guys, Im riding an onza t-pro at the moment and im looking for a new frame. I wanted to get a ZOO! python but then realised that it didnt come with a bashguard . Could anybody suggest a frame which comes with a bashguard and would suit an average height person who is used to the feel of a t-pro? Maybe the echo team 07? Thanks in advance.
  2. Hairdryers can fix burst maggies? hmm, i love the temperature now, it stops me overheating. I cant stand riding in the rain so i'm not so keen on winter . Also it gets dark really early now. I only have half an hour of good light after school now
  3. I was directed here when a friend got bored of me constantly asking trials related questions
  4. Its drilling the holes in your frame that weakens it.
  5. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=183 I have a set of these in gold and they are amazing. I love the stiffness and power i get from them.

  7. 1) Marin hawk hill with rockshox reba team forks 2)T-pro with echo rear wheel, echo cnc cranks and Z00! bars. All in gold
  8. When i bought my bike second hand, both tpa's had seized. I used a screwdriver and a hammer to gently nudge the tpa around a bit each hit. It takes a while but if you unwind it completely and then remove the lever from the handle, you can clean the internals and then grease 'em up good to prevent it happening again.
  9. If you can afford it i would suggest that you stretch to ZOO! bars and gusset slim jim pedals. The slim jims are wider than v8s and so there is more surface area to land on and they are ( in my opinion) a nicer shape. The creepy crawlers are great tyres. I wouldn't bother with the snail cams as ive had nothing but trouble with mine. Standard tensioners are the best. Also, don't bother with the acs freewheels. they break easily compared to the more expensive versions.
  10. I agree, if you want an echo get the '07 version. I think that with decent pads you shouldn't need a grind because both rims have good braking surfaces.
  11. To find the right length of spokes you can give tarty bikes an email. tell them which hub and rim you have and they'll tell you the length.
  12. hahahahahah, sorry but i can't help laughing . It looks so amusing
  13. When you say rubbing do you mean just a quiet 'pffft' sound every second or so as you ride it? Because it its that the there isnt anything to worry about. The disk brakes on all my mountain bikes do it and it means that the caliper is just slightly out of line. This isn't a big problem. If the rubbing is more serious then i suggest you take it to a bike shop because it'll be hard to determine the problem from pictures alone.
  14. Its blink 128 for sure, but im not sure which song. I'll find out if you're desperate to know though.
  15. I understand that he annoys alot of people, but does that mean that every thread has to turn into a pete bashing session?
  16. If i were you I'd upgrade the handlebars and stem to a ZOO! bar and echo stem. It was the first upgrade i made to my T-pro and it made a huge difference.
  17. If you have water in the brakes it will. But if you are using oil in them then i think it would be ok
  18. A good stanley knife will cut the hose. But then you have the problem of re-attatching it to the metal barbed screws, i find it very hard.
  19. Same here, i have my own backings and so would it be possible to buy just the compound (without the backings) for slightly less?
  20. In a word, no. got a pair myself.
  21. well, its quite hard to lace an echo lite fork to your hub I think we need a bit more info. But if you want to know which will make the biggest difference then it will probably be the fork.
  22. Old people are so unpredictable. some will be impressed by my riding and compliment me, whereas others seem to think i have no right to be enjoying myself. I think its best just to apologize and stay out of their way, if they think that they've won then maybe they won't harass the next biker they see as much.
