  1. Well it seems to be in working order and so i would happily pay upwards of £150 for it. Beware though, it still has 6 days to go and so the price will probably rise a fair bit. Also if you can't collect it then it will cost £25 for postage. The reserve isn't met yet either. Other than that it seems to be a good bike and so i would reccomend giving it a look .
  2. Hey guys, i have a 25 litre tub of runny tar left over from my new drive which works a treat on my bike. I'll happily send out small tubs of the stuff if people are willing to pay for postage.
  3. Have a look at this bike. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Onza-T-Pro-Trials-Bi...1QQcmdZViewItem

Yeah, if you want your bike to look bling then its best to pick a brand and stick with it so that all your components fit the colour scheme nicely.

Can i ask where you got the alloy tpa from? For £3 it sounds like a bargain.

    Bashring

Yeah the parts are in the post, i just needed to know whether i should order a new bashring or not. Im going run a sprocket on the front now so there should be enough room thanks for the replies

I dont have any pictures but a good place to start is the bars and stem. Replacing the existing kit with a ZOO! bar and echo team stem make a huge difference and really improve the feel of the bike.
  8. Hi folks, could anyone tell me whether the bashring that comes on the 06 onza T-pro will fit onto a sfk bb and echo cnc cranks? ( i know this doesn't really deserve its own thred but i need the answer urgently. - sorry but i dont have any pics.) Thanks in advance.
  9. It all depends on how new it is and the parts it comes with. It could be anywhere from £120 - £250 for a good second hand bike.
  10. I'm sure it will if you can find one. I've never seen a seperate mod disk hub for sale before. EDIT: i stand corrected, just saw that monty one on tarty :$
  11. Yes, the onza T-pro is the bike i'd reccomend
  12. I found that its best not to charge a set amount, but to do the job and let them pay you an amount they think is appropriate. This may sound strange but its because potential customers will be put off by high prices. If you do a good job then they will pay you more than normal anyway and chances are, you'll be invited back more often. Offering to walk dogs of the elderly is also a nice little earner
  13. Its more expensive to do it that way. Its best to get a cheap yet good second hand bike and then upgrade it at your own pace.
  14. 2nd hand is definetly better value. If you are buying off ebay make sure you are careful though because people can be sneaky. If you find a bike on ebay that you like post it on the forum and people will tell you if ots a good choice
  15. Ebay. thats where I got my starting rig from. be patient and you'll pick up a bargain
  16. never buy from there again.
  17. Yeah, i worked on a farm at 14. At the time i thought the pay was great, but as it turned out £3.50 an hour isnt so great lol. Wait untill your 16 and finding jobs will be dead easy. p.s. you mentioned your academic abilities but the jobs that you'll be able to get at 13 won't be affected by that.
  18. Im a little confused as to where you are starting from: Are you looking for advice on buying a bike? Do you already have a bike and are now looking for help with learning tricks? Please give us a bit more info.
  19. what type do u use? with cnc backing?
  20. Good point. But on the other hand, 5 years ago no-one expected that mtb's would ever be made with carbon frames and now they are made by several companies.
  21. im not sure how much shipping is, but for the wheel ( ready built) it will be approx. £98. fork £70 avid bb7 disk brake £55 total (minus shipping) = £223 so it could cost you about £230 with shipping.
