  1. Watch this one: Somebody has too much time on their hands...
  2. Personally i don't like the idea of predicted grades. I always seemed to get low predictions like D's and E's but in my GCSE exams my lowest mark was a "B" . Also, if you think GCSE's are hard, wait 'till 6th form.
  3. If a 4-bolt will fit your frame then they are worth a look. I've got the GU and it looks pretty damn good. No flex either .
  4. It wouldn't. I have one on my mountain bike and it's almost silent.
  5. The lites are lighter than the ZOO!s and in my opinion are a nicer shape. They look better too .
  6. Because you ride a mod, a 160mm disk has more than enough power. From wiggle they are £63. The levers from chain reaction cycles are £20. So that is already £30 pounds cheaper then you thought. Also, i have ridden a freinds cross country bike many times with avid juicy 5's. In my opinion they feel spongy and seem to only have just enough power to stop him. I think the BB7 is alot better suited to trials .
  7. Hell yeah! rise against are awesome. A few of the best... -Less than jake -Sigur ros -Alice in videoland -Hot hot heat -Motion city soundtrack -The offspring -Scary kids scaring kids ...and of course.. RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE!
  8. It says that we need a password and user ID. I guess the reason it works with you is that you automatically sign in.
  9. Thanks for the help guys. I've narrowed it down to either a Ko or adamant. I really like the ko but it doesn't come with a bashplate. Does anyone know whether it is possible to fit one? If so can somebody post some links to a plate which would fit . Also, does anybody in the general Leeds area have either of these bikes, and if so could they add me on msn or email me so we could organise a ride maybe . Thanks.
  10. What hub do you run on the back? because i have an echo freehub ( which i assume is the same width as the fixed version) and it is slightly too wide for my T-pro. I just want to check that my hub will fit into the new frame ( i know it should do, but im just checking ).
  11. Yeah! DC's are my shoe of choice, lots of padding and comfy but not too fat .
  12. Alot of people have reliability issues with the normal minis. As said, the avid BB7 is a very good brake.
  13. I thought it was quite good . This one is slightly inappropriate but anyway.. An old man witnesses 14 men beating up a muslim. Later a policeman asked him, 'why didnt you help?' The old man replied, 'well, i thought 14 was enough.'
  14. Do you have the short or long version? Thanks.
  15. They sell them here = http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=9525
  16. I was about to suggest chain reaction cycles, but it seems they have sold out. In that case Im going to get mine from wiggle probably http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q...earch&meta= But this topic was about frames really..
  17. I had a go on a friends monty and it felt quite short. Also, im not too keen on the geometry in general. Thanks anyway though
  18. Hi guys. As the title says i need advice on which new frame to buy for my mod. I haven't fitted a bashring to my cranks and the sprocket is a bit too stiff to get of now, so im looking for a frame with a bashplate. I can spend around £300 pounds on a good frame. I'm 5ft 6in and i'm used to riding an onza T-pro. Im not sure what the wheelbase is for the T-pro but i think it's quite short which i like. I wouldn't want a very long bike due to my height and short arms . a few of the bikes that have been suggested to me are: the Ko km1, Echo team and the adamant A3. All seem to be good frames and so any advice concerning which to get is much appreciated - the pros and the cons? If there are any other good frames out there that fit my needs then please post them too. If it makes a difference, the parts i am using are: echo cnc cranks echo rear freehub - is slightly too wide for my T-pro echo team stem ZOO! bars. I'm probably going to buy some echo lite forks and an avid bb7 in the near future. Thanks in advance.
  19. I think It'll have to be a new frame. I don't have a bashring though so im trying to choose one with a bashplate. I'll probably end up getting either the Echo team or adamant A3.
  20. A Hope will fit perfectly as a front hub for a mod..
  21. Good choices. The ZOO! bars and Echo lite forks are lovely. I'm not sure about the headset though, it's alot to spend for something which affects the bike so little. A good cheap headset is the FSA pig. For wheels I would suggest Echo '07 rims on any of the Echo or hope hubs.
  22. Can i ask what Type of coursework this is? A-level? GCSE?... just out of interest. I prefer to ride natural but end up doing street mainly ( easier access). I live in the countryside.
