Unfortunatly I have to complete all of the modules fully to qualify. I've got some cash saved up so I'd easily be able to afford the course fees and rent etc. The only thing is that it'll leave me with nothing (or very little) to live on when I'm doing my degree. The UK government won't touch me in terms of support because I haven't lived in the UK for ages and the Guernsey government will only help me out with funding once I'm actually doing the degree. Even with their help, because of the higher course fees I'll be paying, there will be a significant short fall. I'll also be stuck with the problem of not having anywhere to live in the summer holidays.

I can resit in July but the results don't come out until September, which is too late. It looks like I'm going to do an access course this coming September. The problem I have is that I no longer classify as a UK student and I receive no subsidy on the course fees (Guernsey doesn't pay tax to the UK). The local government here won't give me a grant for an access course either as they'd much rather I go back and finish my A-Levels. Screw that for a game of soldiers. I'll be paying three times more than UK students. And on top of that, the right shitter is that my parents won't support me. Anyone know where I can get a kilo of nice weed on the cheap?

I didn't get to one of my exams this morning because of snow. This means that I'll have to do a f**king access course now. I'm going to be in the red before I even start university!

It's proper f**king cold here, but no snow. I have got 3 jumpers on in my room mind. There's not been more than a few flakes of snow in Guernsey for about five years, so I'd be amazed if it snowed properly today.
