  1. That’s quite strange. I used to work in a builders merchant meaning I was on my feet doing a variety of physically demanding tasks for 8 hours a day and then usually went riding afterwards. At that point in my life I had exactly the same as what you have now, usually about 2 or 3 hours a night but no really tiredness in the day. A few years later I became a finance whore and spend the majority of my day in front of my computer, as I still do now. That was the point at which my insomnia disappeared.
  2. Or jump on the insider trading bandwagon .
  3. Do you actually know anything about investment?
  4. Probably Philip Scofield going ever more grey.
  5. I think I'd really benefit from some state of the union from a twenty year old. Sorry, 21, I just checked your profile.
  6. A 17 year old blond boy to sex me when required Ok, that wouldn't cost 6m, 10 of the f**kers. And a new bike.
  7. "Withnail and I" . "They Live" is quite a good one if you don't mind a convenient storyline and ham acting. It has the most ridiculous fight scene I've ever seen.
  8. That's a very good point. I didn't intend to encompass all religions. I'll read the rest of your post properly when I'm not at work. Hope things aren't getting you too down man.
  9. I think religion is dying a death, just not fast enough. Yeah Mitch, I've seen that particular Louis Theroux documentary. It's great. Silly f**kers.
  10. Right, I've just read this on the BBC and I was quite shocked that the Pope would say such things knowing that it would be reported on so widely. Likening climate change to homosexuality in it's danger to the world....? It may be his (and a good deal of other Catholics) opinion that all gays should burn in hell, but support seems to be running thinner for Catholics and their views in the last ten years or so. Curiously enough, a good number of the clergymen whose hands inappropriately, yet 'accidentally', slipped down the pants of choir boys in the south west of the US, still seem to be working. This is despite a very long and well publicised court case and corresponding out of court settlement. Hypocrisy. Also, some of the comments that readers had posted surprised me a little. I was interested what younger members of society thought about the matters in that article, whether they believe in god and the bible or not. It would be nice to keep this constructive rather than letting it descend into a brawl . Jon
  11. Point taken. It would spice things up, but then it would be taken far too seriously, an argument would kick off, someone would take offence, topic closed. That would spring up new arguments about over-bearing mods/admin bla bla bla.
  12. Indeed it was. James Hyland. 2002 perhaps?
  13. Ditto, although maybe only a year or so. It's weird thinking back to how long ago that was! How long before the crash had this place evolved from the Tenby Trials forum?
  14. How about a joined before 2003? Or maybe before December 2002. Everyone has a different idea of the 'good old days'.
  15. Yeah man, so I noticed you were pretty much the only one. Wasn't aiming my moan at you.
  16. Yeah, like that Romanian bloke in NMC who got a whole world of shit for poor grammar. I found his English to be better than that used by a good deal of other members who speak it as their first language.
  17. Are you serious? This is an internet forum in existence for the discussion of a sport involving people with little seats and no gears on their bikes. Yeah, fair enough, a good part of the forum is not related specifically to trials, but voting in SM's? Jesus. I normally have a wank when I get that bored, or perhaps just go outside and see whats happening in the real world.
  18. If you have children they will die too. Keeping them inside all the time would be cool though. Maybe in a basement in Austria.
  19. Yeah man. Give the guy a break and stop being c**ts.
  20. Ahh right. Hmm, didn't read your post properly. You can convert unrecognised text in a PDF using OCR in Adobe Acrobat (full version rather than just the reader) and then paste it in to word. I suppose that's only useful if it's just pages of text without the formatting that you need. I'm guessing you already know that though. Edit: Yeah, basically that. It's usually pretty good as long as you scan it on high res keep it straight as you're scanning. Not perfect mind. Also, have you tried this? I can't get on the website to check it out as that bloody internet filter won't let me near it. http://www.pdfonline.com/pdf2word/ will do it online. Just tried it and it worked fine.
  21. http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/
