  2. both are good in their own ways,i prefer cable over hydraulic due to the easyer maintenace and low cost of them .my personal setup is bb7 203,sd7 lever and kore inner and outer cable. steve

  4. i would say its the nature of the beast ,i snap spokes occasionally due to heavy landings like ,and im pretty sure other riders will agree. steve

  10. i have a control fork aat the moment and the tire clearence is minamal between the tire and the botton of the fork ,how do you plan to get around this?going by tarty bikes theres only 3mm of fork leg difference so imagine it'll be tight as .

  14. one of the beads from inside the rubber on my tire come through and gave me puncture after puncture after puncture one day ,god it anoyed me.what innertube and tire are you running on the rear mate?atm i have a big ass kenda tube and a minion tire its been fine,and i tend to land heavy as i tend to tank stuff too much. steve
  15. doesnt sound very good,if its broken it would be wise to not ride for a couple of weeks.i reckon i broke my foot a month or so ago and i didnt get it checked ,so it really dodgey now and if i put too much weight on the outside of my foot it aches sooo bad. steve
  16. i think i remember hearing bad reviews about the bearings in them,you might have to search to confirm that.is it the pretty colours that attracts you to these hubs?if it isnt you should have a look at dmr revolvers instead. steve
  17. right ,ive ridden on this tesco cable and its been pretty good,seems to be fairly strong,hasnt stretched noticably and is really good value,i would reccomend this cable. steve
  18. in my experiance 1" star nuts are still a tight fit on deng forks at the best of times,so i doubr you'll be able to run the cab through unles yo remove a flange thing from the star nit and run the hose down the side of the steerer tube. steve

  22. it doesnt look too bad to be honest ,but if i had this bike these things would be my first upgrades, trialtech single speed conversion kit - £10 - tartybikes surly splined 18/19 sprocket- £22-tartybikes kmc kool chain-£14-tartybikes Gusset Bachelor-£14-tartybikes and i would also put a grind on the rear rim and buy some heatsink red pads,these pads are availiable from trials-uk. the rest of the bike looks ok and should be good for a while . steve
