You need to soften the blade really. Get it good and hot (i.e. red) in a blowtorch at the place you want to drill, try to keep the heated area as small as possible cos it doesnt spring as well once softened. Then let it cool slowly, put it down on a brick in some still air (garage shed etc).

Kings are lighter untill you start putting the HD axle and so forth in them. You'll also need special tools to service them properly. Hope's are easier to look after, but fewer engagement points. Wether you think the extra performance of a King is worth the extra money is upto you, but you can't really go wrong with a Hope.

Made this one for normal hoses, seeing as you usually have to shorten the main hose to fit a splitter, you may as well bang a barbed connection in rather than an olive, lets the splitter be more compact too. Yeah you bleed from both sides. Montys that come with splitter systems have two m6/m6 cylinders so you have two bleed bolts.
