  2. not much force if you do it inbetween the headset cups...the main stress risers are on the legs, magura mounts, disc mounts, in line with the lower headset, in line with top headset cup. Id say thats the safest place to remove some material, apart from the dropouts.

  12. get a bmx rider to bed it in for you? you can put an iso hubshell with a disc mount on if you want a disc that badly

  18. Basically, got a try-all hope mono trial. Pistons are extremely sticky and covered in gunk. When this brake was last working, the performance was temperamental to say the least. Soooo.... should i strip the whole brake down and put new seals in it? or would just a good clean be in order? is there any way of getting the bore cap off other than the tool? if not...does anyone have one that i could possibly borrow? Thanks, any advice welcome
  19. neyyyy, those bar and stem combo look pretty good get some shims from pretty much any bike shop worth their salt...ill be needing some soon anyway
  20. when i had a mission freehub...i took the freehub apart, and took out the bearing preload rings ( the things that stop the outer bearing race crushing the bearings. I then tightened this up so the freehub couldn't freewheel at all, thus turning it into a fixed hub.
