  3. i think its 1080, 380, +30, 71.5 Ali's certainly rode very well...when i had a bash at trial of wessex
  4. badass....pedal up to the station ledge, then onto the phone box was pretty damn mint
  5. All comments welcome. only a wuick 20min edit, so dont be too scathing vimeo link
  6. sure hes got other things in his life as well as trials now
  7. lackkkkk steal a go on mine then text me when youre in .... 07972906755
  8. tilt the bars forward and i reckon it'd be quite nice
  9. sickkkkkk paint job, love it
  10. Im running a coust v2....and thats +40 i can tap that fairly well...like 42" max, although on my mates +25 control its definitely far easier. Higher bar and stem might be worth a try? im cahnging mysetup tomorrow to have a go
  11. zoot is a go got brakes sorted as well....might have to grind the rear rim, but ill see how it goes
  12. nope... ive had this problem several times before....do not grease it. This seems to cause the psiton to swell increasing the problem. take the piston out, remove the o-ring...and using a piece of fine grade glass paper, sand the whole of the piston....keep checking its shape, and obviously sand it uniformly to prevent high or low spots.
  13. Heard some talk of a newquay ride on the weekend? wheres everyone meeting and that? any ideas? all welcome ill be filming the whole ride so thats a good reason to come, get yourself immortalized in on of my films haha
  14. i have 3 spare....email me and im sure i can sort you out alexdark2@hotmail.co.uk
  15. erm cookyboy on here uses it, but he's not exactly a basher try him?
  16. personally...only two setups id run: echo cnc /tryall cranks with a tensile or maybe an eno FFW orrrr tryall/echo cnc/ middleburns with a king hub
  17. damn straight although a mate of mine has just put a 47mm wide rear rim on the front of his planet-x dj bike ....looks....interesting with a 21mm wide rear rim
  18. strong frames....you probably want to look at the pre-2009 deng range. Of all the stock (26") frames I've tried the following really stood out in terms of ride: Echo control 07 short Adamant A1 07 short Zona Zenith Coustellier V2 GU typhoon With the exception of the coustellier, they're all extremely strong frames, although quite heavy ( 2~ish kilos ) compared to the 1.57kg coustellier.
  19. certainly no better than the magura ones....although if you need extra heel clearance they may be worth considering. The older generation echo slaves have been known to leak apparently, so that's worth bearing in mind.
  20. i used a pair of try-all rims for some downhill and dirt jumping, so id reckon the echo's would take it just fine.... id personally run a pair of echo urban fronts...as the rear are normally a bit wide for some frames
  21. freewheel will probably be an acs claw... id pay £150-175 peronally
  22. such a grogeous frame....ditch the seat and stem, and itd be a winner, love the headtube design
