  1. They lack power because they have a larger master piston, and a flexy composite ( plastic ) lever with an alloy blade However; an hs33 lever with hs11 slaves = hs33 brake......although 04 hs33 lever body + hs11 blade = absurdly powerful brake due to increased leverage
  2. Get some good quality lithium grease, strip apart the headset ( if its caged bearings ) into its componet parts, clean and regrease everything and put it back in the same order...then tighten your top cap bolt to perload the headset ( tighten until the bearings feel notchy then back it off 1/2 a turn ) then tighten your stem bolts to clamp the steerer.... If its cartridge bearings you could do a me....prise the o-ring off, shake all the trillions of minute bearings into a yoghurt pot then repeat as for the caged bearings....bear in mind theyre are quite hard to seat all of them at the same time....and do one cup at a time
  3. that video doesnt really show the performane of the pads....i mean koolstops on a smooth rim woul;d have stood up to that... get some proper riding in that proves the pad performance....if you can then ill buy some providing you sell rubber only and at a resonable price
  4. i actually really liked that; really brilliant editing.....helps that its got a woodstock in it ;0) Nice one!
  5. i grind my rims....well i grind my tyres
  6. 26" forks give the zoot a higher bb and slacker head angle; which a lot of ople prefer....a lot of the zoots around run echo urbans or pures with a disc. 24" sus forks are round about the same height as 26" rigid forks so would give the same effect....look at the 24" ashton frmae to get an idea fo what i mean
  7. im running 1065 at the moment! shes a beast as well.......and ive got my old 1040 coming back soon
  8. really good video...the only thing i didnt like was the transition effects betweek each clip...but some shweet riding
  9. looks awesome...not so sure about the green hope kit...but the frames lovely, geo?
  10. well hes already got it hasnt he....hes just abit short of cash now.... Id have a bash at the wheel build...if it doesnt work; nothing lost really; just get another rim that'll fit the hub perfectly
  11. i ran manitou six-sports on my trek for a while...and quite liked it...to be honest theres no real advantage; however i could see a point if you rode a 24"...a set of lightweight 24" compatible forks are about the same length as some 26" rigid forks, so would get the geo spot on...n fact..i think i may do that... Marino bikes + geo of an inspired + z1 bombers = sweet ass street/trials bike

11.8kg seems way overboard! My mates one feels a lot lighter than that ( onza t-bird rear wheel, echo cnc'd front wheel, tensiles, full hs33s, t-poo forks ) They're not bad bikes...and certainly one of the nicest riding mods ive been on
  13. how many of you ride up there? This summer im gonna get my trails bike built up...so ill come and ride with you lot if thats cool....i know most of the liskeard trials lot anyway

  16. wiki? Awesome guide forteh, really useful, i do it exatly the same as you so theres not much i can add really....although, where you "ping" the spokes together, i put the wheel on the floor and lean on the rim..then repeat all the way round and on both sides; i find it does a far better job
