One assumes they got it out somehow? God knows, have a looks or ask for a description of whats missing.
  2. haha sureeee Muel speaks truth, mine weighs in at 1.7 with bash I thinks? Anyways....internal headsets are all pretty similar...i mean youve only got a certain amount of space, so you cant really make the bearings any smaller/bigger. Spec list would be better and we could say what would be worth changing. A Trialtech lite (KMC Z601h) would save you some weight against most other chains as well

Is the BB intact? I.E does it have the little tabs to take it out with still on both cups? IF not then they've snapped them off taking em out
  4. If someone said lube pedals, I'd personally think grease the bearings.... Anyway, pedals off...wire brush the threads, grease and re-install. Are the pedals loose? If so tighten the internal bearings with a 6mm allen key and 12?mm socket. They are cartridge bearings though...so if the bearings are shot it would be a replace job most likely. Pedals aren't the most liekly thing to creak so if your bike is still noisy after you've done the above, swap them out for some good pedals....probably your BB I reckon or possibly loose cranks ( in that case grease the bb shell, clean the threads.....remove cranks, clean splines/tapers and lube if ISIS drive ) . Cheeeeers
  5. Looks pretty coo....and they ride amazingly, good work
  6. Why would it The difference is just in the hubshells...all the internals are identical if they're the same model
  7. Hell yeah Erm, for the downtube, top tube and stays it works out at £23 plus delivery...the rest is going to be sourced from a different supplier, so yet to be confirmed Haha, maybe.....i'm taking the next year off so who knows
  8. Ah, that is a VERY good point...bit late though Cheers though Cptn. Too true, but this is mostly for the paperwork side of things. Looks good if i can show i've researched this as well. I've already decided the Geo in my head I reckon: 1090, 40, 380, 71.5 / 72
  9. Possible snapped axle? probably collapsed bearings though. Orrr....you may have mullered theraised internal edge of the axle that the bearing rests on? Take it apart and have a looks...
  10. tried two.....really didn't work for me. The only thing that can really be used is ISA
  11. It appears the BMX and classic are one and the same hubshell click
  12. Sounds ace, got some pictures of your work? Bear in mind you may have to move the mounts inwards slightly to compensate for the 38mm rim, as trials frames are designed around 47mm
  13. They could on IPB2....the forum as just been updated so it'll be a little while until it's back to full functionality
  14. Ah fair play Just wondering
  15. Noticed on tarty that apparently both Ali and Stan are running Maxxis Swampthings now...thought they were pretty bad for trials? Noticed it was the single ply version, so are they running it up front? Just curious...cheeeers
  16. My bike...but uncracked, better spec and dual magura....you b*****d haha, looks ace though....we should ride sometime
  17. He did indeed...paired with a mountain king, on hole rims...anyway Should be fine with 18:15 ratio, but with 18:16 it's very tight.
  18. I just managed to get a Der Kaiser in there...with 18-16 so I doubt you'd be able to get an RQ in there
  19. Try-all nuc stem / Tarty bikes forged should be perfect when coupled with some nice risers such as Viz pro 720's, trialtech sports or monty 231 ti's
  20. Click Download in WMV at the bottom of the page Great stuff Guillermo, very impressive
  21. Nice geometry, light, tried and tested frame shape.....not much to go wrong
  22. Love the paintjob on the czar...tempted to spray me project bike this colour now
  23. Haha...chisel, lovely neat job considering you used that..... Neaten it up with a file though
  24. Dont pull out with molegrips...they have a tendency to snap. Bleed the brake if it isn't already, wind in the tpa and pull the lever to the bars with the wheel and pads removed. Lube up with 3 in 1 or similar
