your diets there, well not there, but its not bad, simple tip, find crap you enjoy, and do it. at the end of the day cardio doesnt have to mean treadmills or swimming, you can lift weights for cardio, providing your lifting at the right intensity, I hate running, can just about stand xc riding(well i enjoy it, i just dislike washing my bike, driving to the local track etc) but last summer i dropped like 32-35 lbs in like 4 months to go on holiday. and most of it was by weights + diet(but my normal diet is awful, and my dietting diet sounds no better than your regular diet) I used to get 40kg on a barbell(non olympic, so were talking 45-50kg all in) put it on the floor, deadlift it to the waist, curl it to the shoulders, press it, and then reverse. would also deadlift it, then swing it to chest height, pull it in to the chest, front squat it, extend the bar back out, swing it back down under control, then stick it back on the floor. Would do this at a decent pace, and to be honest, it would get the hear rate right up, and i could do it for far longer than i could stay entertained running. Other thing i could quite happily do all day, is loaded carries, pick something heavy up,and move it, doesnt really matter what, or how, weve got 25kg test weights at work, grab one in each hand, shrug the shoulders and carry them. the main reason i find stuff like this easier to do, is because a) its hard and theres no easy option. its all to easy to stop running, and start walking if your a bit tired, rather than running through that stitch, but if your lugging 50kg of dirt in a hessian sack, theres no easy way of carrying it once your knackered,you can stop, but your not getting any closer to where you need to be, you dont make any progress till you strap on a pair and start carrying again,but with running, if your knacked after 3k of a 5k run, you can just walk it.

Dave you say the voices etc get worse when your off the weed, how long have you stayed off it for?? Ive got a mate who suffered from weed psychosis, and would just flip out, and glass people for no apparent reason (amongst other things), once youve started given up, have you tried sticking with it for a couple of weeks(im talking if you cant handle life in them 2 weeks,dont have a life in them 2 weeks, stick yourself in your room, dont leave unless you have to kinda crap, not stop blazing on a monday morning, then go do regular crap, and end up lighting up at 6pm cos stuff gets too heavy for you) and see if it actually gets better. because most people can come back from stuff like that if it was caused by drugs. you might have to stop smoking weed, but thats a small price to pay for having a regular-ish life. also, do you not think your feeding your own problems slightly, you say the voices in your head are benji, youve personified them, and acknowledged them and the fact they are real, like youve got a mischevious mate in the corner egging you on. Surely if you can convince yourself, whilst your in the correct frame of mind, that this stuff isnt real, its ridiculous, its not actually someone, and its nonsense, there is infact no one talking to you, that if/when you do hear voices again, you can control how you handle them. got a mate who regularly takes acid, similar thing with him, he convinces himself that whatever happens whilst on acid isnt real, isnt going to result in bad sh*t, etc, and he doesnt really get bad trips, or if he does, he isnt phased by them, so they just kind of stop where they are, and dont get any worse(hes still tripping, but at a similar level/mood to what he was originally, as opposed to when you trip, and you get scared because of bad stuff happening, and this only makes the trip worse).

See my mate was sceptical about this first(hes got a 3g, but didnt want to get a 4, so borrowed my desire, which ive never had an issue with, but buttery smooth operation aint what i look for in a phone, i liked my 5800 because although clunky and crap, it got the job donw) but he had a play for a day or 2, and was impressed and has just got a htc desire HD, and says its easily as nice to use as an iphone(not to mention some of the custom roms that pretty much replicate the iphone to a T) Trouble is with every phone, even if its a massive jump, you miss stuff, I for example now have the htc desire, and miss the fact my 5800 would work when im outside in the pissing rain(resistive touchscreen) or when ive got out the shower and am using it with wet hands. and the fact that the battery on it lasted longer than most of my relationships.

yea, and also on the whole innocent til proven guilty thing(unless your joannna yeates landlord and the tabloid papers are the jury) the tv license people have no powers. Ive been in student houses with no tv licenses(staying with mates), and tv's, and after hundred of letters, they did finally pay a visit, but they had no powers, if you dont let them in, they cant force entry. technically they could apply to the courts for a warrant, but theres so many people, they dont have the man power to visit each house, let alone apply for warrants, so eventually they just gave up, as its easier to chase people like findus, who will pay up when they dont need to, then take a chance paying money for a solicitor to file for a warrant, force entry to a house, to prove there is a tv there to fine them a relatively small amount of money. 90% of what they do is scare tactics, they will make an example out of the odd person, just to help with the scare tactics further, but generally even if you have got a tv, they cant actually do anything about it, without you admitting something, or letting them in your house. as Luke says, id personally ignore them, youve informed them of your stance, and if someone does turn up, they can have a look.

also i can kind of see facebook chat taking over sms, the way my phone syncs with fb, means i can straight away see whos online, and fb chat is just like sms messaging only quicker, free, and not held by character limits, can post links etc, its got to the point where a couple of friends seem to be talkin to me more on fb chat on my phone, than by text, as more and more phones get this facility, i can only see it being more common.

yea, the only reason i want parallax is that im going to stick a digital night vision monocular behind it, and it just makes setting everything up 300 times easier. current scope is a hawke actually, no complaints from it, crisp enough. what gun you got?? really tempted to get a bsa ultra for working from a vehicle/confined spaces and as a general cheap enough to not worry about it to much gun.

yea, call me daft, but i honestly fail to see the point in sticking anything better on your gun,ive used a lot of scopes, bushnell, mtc, simmons whitetail's etc, and sure a few of them have been better, but not like twice the price better. most of the areas they are better in, dont matter a feck(purple in the corners of the scope etc) and i looked through some £1500 4 x32 scope at a show last year, and i honestly though it was worse than some of the 4 x 32 scopes stuck on the £150 springer kits. at the end of the day, if my scope is in focus, and zero'd, a rabbits head is still a rabbits head no matter what im looking at it through. I use it for ratting too, which tends to mean the rifle takes a few more knocks and bangs than it perhaps should do, hence the reason i got a tactical stock. I also wouldnt of spent that much on a rifle, but i wanted a tactical stocked buddy bottle rifle, so didnt have much choice really, and after shooting it, realised it was a beautiful piece of kit.

rats are fairly intelligent, often more so than me, they wont take dog food stuck out in the middle of the yard for the first couple of nights, they grow used to lights, and cars, but luckily as i got a couple of places i can hide out, and i can block and unblock rat runs, and they ultimately have to eat, its easy to get them. likewise with rabbits, generally they can see any colour light, but they dont get spooked by a light colour that doesnt shoot them, so much like rats, swapping out colours every so often works, the other benefit of red light is that your eyes dont adjust to it like they do white light, you still retain your natural night vision without taking 5 minutes to readjust. ive got an interest in bigger game, but it seems expensive, and not quite as skillful. also, i like challenging myself with shooting, so often if im bored, ill stick a few 2ps in cracks in fence posts, go to 25 or so yards and try and hit as many in a row as i can, you cant really go sticking a bunch of bean cans at 100-150 yards and go firing at them, without thinking more about backstops etc, not to mention there not to keen to give a FAC to a 23 year old with a couple of arrests under his belt, who doesnt live on a farm. wouldnt mind getting something for foxing given the chance. other good thing about nightvision is that it lights up a rabbits eyes white as can be, cant miss eyes when there under ir. my set up is currently similar to this but as you can see in one of his other vids, the length of the scope/camera set up is just too long to be comfy unless you mount the scope way too far forward to use normally , EDIT: with regards to footwork, its not huge distances, but trudging 1/2 mile in the wet between spots, sitting on wet grass for 30 minutes only for there to be no rabbits, is a lot worse than rocking up to an infested small holding in sweatpants and trainers, walking on concrete, setting up somewhere out the elements, and popping a few rats.

rats mainly and a few rabbits, and hitting targets in the summer. but i aint goin outside to rattle off shots at repair washers hanging on a piece of string, till its shorts and t shirt weather. id use it for rabbits more, but the trouble is the land im allowed to shoot on isnt really vehicle friendly, which makes it a lot of footwork, and a lot of hard work, rats are nice and easy, down some farm outbuildings, just rock up in one of the outbuilding, or park me car in the yard, out the cold and the wind, and just sit and wait for a few minutes. really want to get night vision working on it properly, got a set up at the moment, which does for hitting rats at like 20 yards, but it extends the length of the scope too much. ive also got a bsa meteor springer.

look into your codecs, ive got an intel atom powered netbook, that plays 1080p smoothly at around 30%cpu load in wmp, i wouldnt like to try editing on it mind, its running windows 7, with 2gb of ram, and all bells and whistles turned on, try not to have too much else running, but having itunes/google chrome/msn/solitaire running at the same time dont seem to bother it. I had to tweak a few things(forced it to run nvidia ion drivers rather than ion le) and had to use a certain codec for it to work ok, but yea it runs fine now. i basically did a fresh install of windows, installed the coreavc media pack, and no others.

I know it aint airsoft, but thought this was the closest place to stick it (the old air rifle thread was alright till troyston came along) current ratting/rabbiting set up, fx royale 400 in .22, 3-9x50 scope on high mounts, extendable bipod. thinking of swapping it to an ags mini swat 3-12 soon(got ambitions of getting nv set up so i dont get serious eye relief issues.

depends what version of undead nightmare you get. theres 2 types i think,. you can either buy it in the shop at like £25 and you just get the undead nightmare game, works on its own, or you can buy it online via psn for like £8, which downloads it to the ps3, but you need the original RDR to play it. personally if your spending like £150+ on a console, id spend like £20 on a pre owned copy of red dead redemption, and download the undead nightmare vis psn, end up costing you like £5 extra but you get about 3 times as much gameplay value, since RDR single player campaign is way longer than that of undead nightmare.

To sum it up, feckin brilliant. skiing in canada, goin to ibiza, tagging a cheeky week in maga on right at the end for some cheap ass closing parties. mums got a galaxy s, ive got a desire, id say the opposite, the screens are about the same, only issue I have with the desire is the battery life, but thats cos i tan angry birds and doodle jump on the crapper at work. if you cant wait 15 minutes to get an email, then i pity you, i check mine like once a day.

erm i did a load of looking into them in the summer, ended up with a pentax w80, there was a slightly better w series available for not much more, but they didnt have it in stock, think i payed £105 for it. reasons for the choice(i also own a 20d slr, so hopefully we aint miles off on what your expecting) 1) its incredibly simple to use, ok so it doesnt have very many settings etc, but to me, having a camera like this that does everything for you is better, as i know if i could adjust stuff i would, which would mean taking gloves off on the piste/diving down again to take pics, and your holiday should be about having fun, not losing fingers due to hypothermia to get that picture just right for you to upload it to facebook to show your friends how boring their life is and have it ruin the image quality anyway. can also be used with gloves,and theres not loads of buttons to mash 2) its small and robust, if it dont fit in the pocket easily, its not really a compact which was the issue with some of the camera, most of its made from aluminium and it has rubber corners. 3) the 720p video on the pentax was significantly better than that on the similar priced olympus, sony models etc. some of the others looked choppy or washed out(even though they wer supposedly 30fps, you could see the jerkiness of the videos) 4) its blue, i like blue things.

right, ive ordered 4gb of 800mhz(along with 2 extra fans and some other lil bits). my mates reasoning behind the thing was, when he had 16gb of stupid quick ram, he used to get into maps really quick, and on my ram, im entering games really slowly(constantly the last one in) and my fps drops super low in the map loading screen, reasoning behind it was thought to be that all the data for the map was having to be dragged off the hdd each time it was needed, rather than just being on the ram, which he thought possibly explained the low in game performance as well. made a bit of a mess up partitioning today (was creating a new partition and unplugged the wrong socket when sticking me phone on charge, so now i get a linux/windows boot selection screen which i cant get rid of, and is annoying me), so ive just had to reformat everything,but this gives me a chance to install uptodate drivers on everything from the off, but im also going to do a quick install of xp 32 bit on another partition, and try it on that, as someone reckoned 7 slowed their fps down from 60 to 25 on bfbc2 due to issues with direct x10/11 and the gtx460, and how in windows 7, forcing dx9, isnt actually dx9, its just some adaptation of 11, so running xp with dx9 meant he got super smooth gameplay.

I by no means agree with the idea of whats happening to the woman(but then i largely disagree with religion) But if religion is powerful enough to make someone who is well educated, with a largely science and biology based education(to the extent where youd think theyd be open minded enough to consider evolution over god, not believe in it, but at least grasp that their view may not be the correct one) whose job it is to save lives,and another with a phd in engineering can be driven to the point of willing to die, by indiscriminately attacking passengers at an airport with a carbomb, many of whom had no religion at all, as opposed to a belief which disagreed with their own. Then i view it as rather likely,that people with less education, who have seen less of the world, and been educated by people who held the same beliefs as them, would quite happily attack or kill christian aid workers who are entering their country if they wer too cause any unrest. And the women in this story, was clearly adding fuel to the fire, her actions do not in anyway deserve the punishment she is getting,but I can see reasoning behind why its happening, other than that of the country being run by extremists who wont hear a bad word against their religion.

At the end of the day, people in our country have to live by our laws, people in their country have to live by their laws, as absurd as they may be. People say the laws in our country are too lax, to the point they cause unnecessary loss of life(killers/rapists being freed to kill again) on the flipside maybe their laws are too stringent, but that is unfortunately the way life is, I'm not going to comment on this law, as I dont understand religion or the significance it has to some people,and how no punishment can deter you from saying/doing what you believe in with regards to religion (stiffer sentences for Islamic extremists,wouldn't deter suicide bombers). However overly stringent laws in other countries such as losing a hand for shoplifting in saudi arabia,I bet you kids over there dont go robbing claire's accessories for earrings, and likewise when you have got so many million devout followers of a religion,giving stiff sentences to those found guilty of going against the religion, may infact be not because of people with extreme views in power, but may come as a rational decision so as to stop more people going against the religion,not for the good of the religion or to persecute followers of other religions, but to reduce civil uprising/vigilante attacks on all christians in pakistan by opposing religions.
