  1. Tickets purchased for myself and mr prattley. Canne wait!
  2. No worries. On a fourplay you want a lot of rise so I recommend the trialtech highrise bars. Short but steep stem and as many spacers as your steerer can take.
  3. Carbon bars are very hit and miss. I'm currently on my 3rd set. The stiffness of them is the main benefit, as you only save around 100g when compared to your average ally bar. However onza carbons are actually an ally bar with a carbon wrap. The geo on them is very dated by todays standard so that combined with the fact that they aren't the toughest bit of kit out there means you would benefit from trialtechs or something similar.
  4. Should be getting a ticket this weekend
  5. If I realllllllllllly had to choose from that bunch, I'd probably go with the 50/50s. But I value my shins more than that.
  6. Wider is fine, but obviously narrower is a no no.
  7. The rocket ron has to be the worst use of rubber ever though
  8. Personally found the small blocks to be of absolutely no grip whatsoever
  9. "George mate your frames in 2 pieces... no, no. Seriously"
  10. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/maxxis-hookworm-bmx-tyre/rp-prod11547?ModelID=11547
  11. Very weighty tyre, but honestly the wear life, punny resistance and the way they roll will more than make up for it. Cheap too.
  12. You worried about weight? If not get a maxxis hookworm, practically stab proof.
  13. That frame is about 4/5 years old mate
  14. Yep the entirety of the north has nothing better to do than put our heads up our bums.
  15. You've missed the boat big time on that one Will.
  16. I second it. People need to lighten up in this 'dark era'.
  17. I'm really not sure, I got them off Dave Kerr, pretty sure they're the 2012's. Cut down around 20mm each end. And yeah the cranks barely have a mark on them (3 months old), I never tend to abuse my bike. I need to lose some weight myself and let the bike be fat for a change.
  18. I'm unsure on the pink too. Just went with the rim tape to match the frame. Cheers man. Hopefully have some new cranks sorted soon.
  19. Massive spree of snapping parts recently and it's costing a fair whack. Bars, headset, forks, cranks, pedals, crossover, rear axle, freewheel.
  20. 170mm, around 12 stone, was doing a relatively small drop off.
