  1. Yep, the bar has a 3 inch rise. And the stem is 50mm x 12 degree rise. High rise to create more room below the bar for the legs, else knee would hit the bars, just some weird theory from my friend. Most prolly I would change to a 2 inch rise bar from Deity.
  2. Well, I guess this thread would be very much similar to this: Joining the 24'' Group. Anyway, I ordered the 24UK (Mk2) from Steve, so I guess more or less it should arrive by the end of April? Here is a pic of most of my parts: Well, some parts like the front brake, grips, bar and stem were left over from my street (mtb) bike after I sold it. Echo brake, GU bash and booster was left over from my mod bike after I sold it too. Bought those Echo cranks and clamps cheap. Rims and hubs from CRC - Sun Rhynolite XLs and Hope Pro 2s. Fork is Echo Pure. Wanted to get Urban but my friend didn't have stock. The only bad thing is my tyres - Kenda K-rads from my street bike. Will change to Holy Rollers soon. So what do you guys think of the setup and colour scheme? The frame would be white, with blue-ish parts. Funny thing is that the blue has different tones. I'll be glad to hear criticisms too. I would be changing the fork in the future upgrade. Then after that maybe get Middleburn cranks with Heatsink Cloud9 bash!
  3. I wanted to get an Echo Urban, but my friend didn't have stock, so I took the Pure. It looks like the latest model? I'm not sure, but it has the CNC'ed steerer.
  4. For comedy, it would be: 1) Sex is zero (part 2 is screening now! I just downloaded it) 2) Wet Dreams 2 (watched in the cinema, yet to watch part 1) Both of which are Korean movies, I see the English subtitles instead. For military: 1) Top Gun 2) Full Metal Jacket Godfather is good too, and Apocalypto.
  5. I have BMX friends who bent their Profile Ti spindle (for cranks), and one of them bent his Profile Kevin Porter Ti sprocket. But why don't you get Ti spokes instead? They really last. My friend has it for 4 years already, and he trues them like once a year. Oh, he's not riding pure trials, old school street-trials to be exact, so his moves aren't those huge gaps and drops.
  6. 2002 author STAG - I used it for mtb street, also my first frame to learn basic trials in 2005 (it's actually a street-trials frame), snapped at the chainstay. agentbikes with 24'' wheels - Street bike I used for 2006 to 2007. Last upgrade was the yellow bar seen in the pic below. Well, you can't go wrong with singlespeed hub and bmx cranks.
  7. About 20 for me. But I also add in a challenge, try to balance on the rear wheel without hopping (which means moving and twitching your body to balance). I started to do this after watching Ryan Leech's Manifesto, where he encouraged riders to ride in that style - zero recovery hops. I have to agree with Leech, that style of riding makes biketrial look more attracting/appealing/professional.
  8. Oh my goodness, this is so funny! TPA wheel your referring to?
  9. Aha, so you were the one! I saw the bike posted in togoparts some time back, like a year ago. Do you still ride the 24uk now? I just ordered the 24uk too, it should be arriving next week I guess.
  10. Hey, is your 24UK frame colour blue, front rim Sun Singletrack, rear rim Tioga DH?
  11. Yep, spindle speed too slow, and feed rate too fast.
  12. Maybe someone from Singapore made it? But I have to agree (though I'm from Singapore), that the name sounds a little gay.
  13. Yeah, that's what I meant. Cousts > Rock greens
  14. Girls wearing pink are nice, that aside. What about guys wearing pink? In my country, the girlfriends make their boyfriends wear pink shirts, that was a trend back in 2005 to 2007? You could see many many guys wearing pink. Those "wanna-be gansters" also wear pink to attract attention. Which I personally find it quite disgusting. What about in the UK? Does that happen as well?
  15. Don't you think those Rock greens are the "rip off" of Heatsink Cousts?
  16. But the Identiti is meant for sus forks with 130mm travel, which makes sense. Anyway, I've seen a Cannondale Chase with a 160mm sus fork, 20 inch bmx with a 120mm sus fork, 24 inch bmx cruise with a 120mm sus fork. Now that's kinda weird.
  17. Osiris for me, I saw some riders in MBUK wearing them, and it was good.
  18. Nice, but what rear rim is it?
  19. There's some of this at my side too, they call it Vitamin (brand). My friend told me it was a coust replica, and a little heavier.
  20. I think 150mm would a quite an overkill for the frame? It's really long, and the headtube might just snap. 50-80mm would be ok. I would run a 60 if I still had my sus fork.
  21. Well said, it WILL arrive. I can't wait for my frame and Coust pads to arrive too. It's been months since I rode (had to sell off the current bike to make way for a better one!)
  22. I know of a brand from my side. They use epoxy to stick the pads. But I can't say the brand though, the only hint is that it's 4 letters, and it's not neco.
  23. A couple had been married for 40 years. And every night without fail, they made wild passionate love. But, every night, they would do it in the dark. It was the husband who insisted in switching off the lights. Every night the wife would ask why, and the husband would answer that their children are getting older so they must do it more discretely. What if one of the children suddenly come in suddenly? (despite the closed door) So after 40 years, one night, the wife suddenly switched on the lights and saw the husband holding a cucumber in his hand. She exclaimed, so this is what you have been doing to me for the past 40 years?! The husband answered, then how do you explain the two children?
