  1. May I know what is the geo for this model? It's the 07 model right? I only know the wheelbase is 987mm. I'm helping my friend find the geo for comparison as he's intending to get a marino.
  2. I have the exact same problem too. Turned out that the crank fitting was being "eaten up", soft alu crank fitting against hard steel bb shaft. I have to use that coke can shim method. It worked, but the crank bolt spacer was pretty chewed up too. I was using the echo cnc crank for 6 months already and it failed in the third month. A senior rider told me that those echo cnc cranks are really soft cos another rider at my side spoilt his on the first ride. Has there anyone here with the same problems with echo cnc cranks? I would be getting Modulo cranks next week. It's a Singapore brand, has anyone heard of it? I was told that it was damn stiff.
  3. Wow, that's really good!
  4. You don't really have to put tar on a grind. And my advice is to stay away from tar, they kinda get runny and messy when it's wet. As for the pads, I'll recommend Heatsink
  5. Maybe Steve is waiting for the end of the month or a particular date where he would sort everything, I hope.
  6. Yes, you are right. Now I remember Ryan Leech say in his Mastering the Art of Trials video that it's easier to sidehop in the direction of the back foot, but he recommends learning both ways. I guess it's back to the "wrong side" for me now
  7. That's what I did too! I've been doing it the wrong way, as in hopping on the side of the forward foot. The highest I could go was 20'' I'm going to learn the "correct" way after Christmas
  8. QUOTE (Joey B @ Oct 29 2008, 06:29 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>It can't be the end of Peter can it, he has claires ability and as Sylar said she can never die, soooooo theoretically neither can he? Yes you are right, but don't forget, Claire can't die, but Peter just took her power, that's all. I hope Peter gets his powers back! I think Sylar is pretending to side Authur, but he is actually becoming good. I have some questions though, What happened to the Micah's girl cousin in season 2 who could mimick movements? What happened to the Irish girl whom Peter met at the start of season 2? Is she still stuck in the future or what? I never missed an episode of heroes, but I can't figure out what happened to her. Maybe I didn't pay close attention :/ What ever happened to Hiro's sword? Last I know, Adam monroe took it before he was buried. And if you noticed, it was swapped in the future in season 2 when the future Hiro got shot. The future Mohinder passed the current Hiro the sword belonging to the future Hiro. And some thoughts... Will the invisible man who used to work for the company in season 1 come back to help Angela? Will Ando ever get a power?
  9. If I lived near you, I would help you finish it

    The M

May I know what is the average price for a meal at McDonalds in the UK? I always thought that Macs in western countries are the best. I see you guys mention about burgers with bacon. There is no such thing as bacon in the Macs in my country and the burgers here are awfully small!
  11. I think the yellow and white are the same compounds, just different colour. Since Steve didn't mention anything about the whites being used as the snowies.
  12. The colours are loud, but interesting. I'm neutral. You could always change them!
  13. It's nice, it looks like the PX alibongo without the seat!
  14. Yeah, I hope he starts making them in near future. It was my dream frame though, still is.
  15. Jib was the first mtb video I watched! That was in 2005. It was really cool. And I believe that certain sponsored rider is none other than Rowan Johns I'm sure looking forward to his 24'' video. Anyway, by using the neutral gear, you would have to shift in and out, as what Dave said, it'll be tedious. Just learn to fakie properly?
  16. Hey Muel, I'm using th Da Bomb RL2 tensioner too! Slighty modded. I'm still waiting for Steve to get back to me on the Heatsink tensioner I'll give it a try to see if mine could be fitted through the hub bolt, as that would be definitely better! Edit: couldn't fit. There's some thick spacer thingi sticking out which I can't remove it. Some questions, your hanger was cut off? And what chain are you using? I so agree. It's really an eye-sore seeing it stand out.
  17. Wow, awesome! Looks a little like Steve's one too! It makes me wish I got a (metallic) blue one instead.
  18. I remember there was a poll a few months back. Heatsink Reds and Cousts had equal votes. I use the Coust on a smooth DM24. It produced high-pitched squeaks. I just came back from a ride, was surprised that the sound was so loud there was echoes, and I was playing near a shopping centre. It's been 6 months since I got them and I ride almost everyday, and every month I would clean my pads, I still can see some parts which aren't really worned yet! I didn't grind cos I like to manual a lot. I would get the Reds if I were you. I mean the Yellows or Whites, since Steve has changed the colours.
  19. Oh man, I gotta salute you! It must have been an agony walking back home with that pain. Get well soon!
  20. Those kids on thecomeupbmx really behave like girls! No point arguing with fools though. We all know Danny is one hell of a sick rider!
  21. It doesn't fascinate me, but I do like the integrated booster (looks way better than the one on the new Echo frame) and the 4-bolt mounts.
  22. If I'm not wrong there was this flatland bmx guy who entered the 30 seconds of fame contest? That was maybe 5 years back, before I got into riding. Might be trials, I dunno.
  23. So how's it going? Vinson Kang 20 Singapore 24UK
