  1. I stripped my Shadow slim seat. Cos I was sick of water being soaked in it. Then I thought I would get the Odyssey Mike Aitken seat, seeing that it was "water-resistant", and then the inspired seat came out. But I guess I'll sort other parts like brakes, then lastly the seat, haha.
  2. Managed to get a pic of my friend's inspired too, so that makes it 3 in Singapore, haha. (I'm so tempted to sell my 24uk and get one myself too )
  3. Oh ok, I've got it now. Thanks So this means that the wheel would be fitted the other way? How weird it would look if one is running dual disc...
  4. Ah, I've been wondering about the fork as well. I'm neutral on the forward-facing mount. But from the way I see it, the brake mount seem to be on the right leg? Can someone clarify it?
  5. Wow nice bike Ben! I can't wait to try it But I think it would be better if it's a darker brown with mint green stickers instead.
  6. Wow, it's really nice with the white. Speaking of which, I also never really seen much A2s around.
  7. That's really very nice! Hmm, are you the first in the UK to ride the Rockman? I remember the thread some time back on whether Rockman is really worth its price, but I guess we all know now!
  8. I'm using a similar one, single-arm. You set it up like a deraileur, and shorten the chain as short as possible. Don't forget to adjust the jockey wheel to have a perfect chain line. It would be tight, mine's very good so far, in fact mine's very tight - I can't do a decent crank flip! Haha. And this inspired is lovely! The purple hubs just make it right.
  9. Bruce Lee beat Chuck Norris in one of the Bruce Lee movies, forgot which, haha. Back to the fork. If I were you, I would get a fork with a 20mm through-axle, as that's stiff. Fox has came out with a 15mm TA too, but Fox is really expensive, but most of my friends are using the Fox 36 for street riding. I would just get a Pike, Argyle, or Gold Label. Anything but Marzocchi, they always break at the arch, some design flaw there, because of the "M" arch, that part is too stiff.
  10. Some do use 18:13 on 165mm cranks right?
  11. Heehee, ok. Quick post yours soon! Hmm, isn't that how they measure mtb frame sizes? In that case, it should be around 10-11''.
  12. The paint job is really awesome, I wonder if I should do that on my 24uk too. And I like the way the disc caliper fits in-between the stays. I'm sure looking forward to your video! (somehow the green Hope parts don't quite match that paintjob, gunsmoke would be better, but that's just what I think )
  13. Mr Heatsink managed to put maggy on his Topic here: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....c=79304&hl=
  14. I might try out a longer stem, I would have to admit the 24Uk has quite a short toptube.
  15. I thought she was interested in an Inspired at first?
  16. Wowie, that's really nice! Would white tyres make it look even nicer too?
  17. I've changed my cranks to Modulo, which is a local brand at my side. One thing good about the Modulo crank is that a threaded shim gets screwed on to the crank, then the sprocket, in the event you strip the threads, you just have to replace the shim. The mechanic who was also a masterclass rider said that those cranks were "indestructible" and very stiff. Riders at my side have been using it for 2 years and none of them suffered from any stripping yet. I've also gotten a Trialtech bashring! I can say it's the coolest thing on my bike I've also gotten a proper single-arm tensioner, by Point Racing. The ratio is 18:14, and I'm still not so used to it yet, it's a bit lighter than my previous ratio. I got those new parts from the local trials shop, and when the mechanic fixed it up, he said that my BB had warpeda little, and my dropouts were a little slanted (due to the flex). He also found out where the creaking sound was from. I thought it was the headset, but he showed me a crack on the fork steerer where it bonds with the crown. Anyway, here are the pics. Can I say it's one of the nicest 24UK around?
  18. Anyone has any idea how big it is? The keyring I mean, haha.
  19. Oops. I'm really sorry, I'll bare that in mind.
  20. Damn, episode 8 ends with
  21. My girlfriend started an argument with me for not showing enough concern, which I did show plenty. In the end she apologised cos she said she suddenly had that empty feeling and that I would leave her. As usual, girls need those type of assurance right? I told her that her past relationships might be bad, and her ex wasn't faithful to her, but I'm not as bad as her ex. (She's my first girlfriend, we've been together for almost 5 months already) And then she said that she was the one who was unfaithful cos her ex was always busy with his friends, so she felt really lonely and had an affair with someone 6 years older than her for 2-3 weeks. She felt it was wrong so she confessed to her ex and left that guy. 2 weeks later her ex dumped her for another girl. Her ex was a total wimpy bas**** though. Though it was the past, I still feel very disturbed by what she told me. I wonder why am I worrying so much about the past.
  22. Or maybe free for a certain amount of money spent at tarty, but of course, one per customer.
  23. The first bike is really nice. It looks almost like the 24UK mk1, just without the disc brace.
  24. I read from another topic that the Tensile tensioner is based on the Rohloff, but cheaper by half! If money is not a problem, I would recommend the Rohloff. But 46-ish pounds is quite a lot in my currency.
  25. I would prefer Krav Maga. It has no rules, and it's extremely lethal
