  1. It's not an unsolvable problem, I always find it happens with new pads, takes ages to go away aswell. Best thing I did to solve it was ride in the rain, maybe it helped the pistons dig the groove into the backs of the pads or rust the backs of the pads or something. Worked anyway.
  2. If a GasGas costs £800, it needs money spending on it in my experience. Someone I know had a 1997 GasGas TXT250, not even a Pro just the base model, it sold for £1200, and it wasn't immaculate really.
  3. How heavy/tall/old are you? If you're 16 or over you can ride any bike in a competition, and a 125 will quickly get too small and weedy for you. The ones I've ridden had no torque at all, you need to rev them to death to get them to go anywhere. I'd say get an older bike like a Yamaha TY250 monoshock first, I've had them for the last 5 years and they are dirt cheap to run and they're really strong, so you can fall off them a lot and not worry too much about breaking something. If you're old enough to avoid a 125, I'd say get a bigger bike definately, people will say, "ooh, they're fine to learn on,", but really what you want is to have fun, and while I found I could do must stuff on the 125s I rode, it pissed me off constantly.

    Phat Pads!

Phat pads shouldn't need glue to hold them in really, just a few dabs of superglue should hold them in fine.
  5. I've ordered from there before, they seemed good to me. Stuff came quick and was cheaper than anywhere else.
  6. He means make it into a sentence so it's easier to comprehend.
  7. trialscentral.com is the only motorbike trials forum that I know of. Theres loads of shops in the UK, none like Tarty that I know of, but I have to use people who sell Yamaha parts.
  8. Before typing that, you should have at least had the common sense to check the f**king dates. You: 02/04/2009 Him: 08/02/2009
  9. I'd stick with the Burns, they're amazing cranks. Just get a 16T bash for them.
  10. Probably had the originals then, Tarty got a batch in once you could actually bite chunks out of. I've heard numerous stories from people that wore out the old CRMs, bought the new ones and they were utter shite, wore down really fast on the same grind and no bite or hold. The TNNs are the same compound as the originals, so with the new backings aswell they'll be amazing.
  11. It's rim tape, and this should be in Random Small Questions really mate. Just get some electrical tape and make your own, it's dead easy. Just put a run round with sticky side, then cover it with the sticky side down.
  12. Weak? Mine took a serious hammering to get it in and it didn't even bend. It does make the brake slightly more responsive if you ask me, but it also makes the pads move at a more similar rate and allows you to get a cleaner hose line
  13. Is that the same as mine Fatty? LG W2242S?
  14. I was talking about the one he will be selling.
  15. Looks fun there, I've only ever climbed there, look foward to riding it some time. Is that Walkers old MBK Kyle? Where did the Ozonys snap in the end?
  16. Try-all for more grip, Mountain King 2.2 for less weight. (Roughly a 200-225g difference). For ultimate lightness, might want to give one of these a go. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=5842 No idea what the grip is like though.
  17. And that makes your bike lighter how?
  18. Thats wayyyy too much work. You can find out how many posts you've done in all of chit-chat though. Click on your name and go to find members posts, them times the number of pages by 25. Gets it roughly right, then take away the number your post count.
  19. Is the processor just single core? If it's not a dual core machine I'll leave it, I was planning on building something around a E5400 or E7200, something like that anyway.
  20. Got a spec for the PC? Just mildly interested, wouldn't want either monitor as I'm getting another 22" to match mine.
  21. As soon as I have a spare £130, I'll be running something very similar. Looks good! Not keen on tall desks though.
  22. College bum and run a website part time.
  23. Even my current set-up with one 22" at 1650x1080 and one 17" CRT at 1152x768 (1280x1024 made the fonts too small) makes things so much easier. Better to overkill than underkill, plus matching monitors look so much better than different ones.
