  2. I've tried doing it that way, it's just way too tight for my liking. My monitor only runs 1680x1050 though, if I had a trueHD 22" monitor it would be much better. I'd still just rather have two at 1680x1050.
  3. When you do anything like web designing or any design type work, or writing reports of doing asignments, it makes it so much easier to be able to have two programs open at once. (The report/assignment and the source, or the websites code and the page open in a browser). But yeh it doesn't really make multi-tasking much easier in my experience, just makes it much easier to do single tasks which require two programs.
  4. This is not an opinion, it is a FACT. As soon as I can afford another matching 22" it'll be on the way, even with my miserable 17" CRT on the wrong side it makes such a difference.
  5. Happened to me once aswell, burnt out the PSU and the graphics card and it was never really the same, the only parts left from that build now are the sound card and one of the sticks of ram.
  6. It's a discussion Jardo, with everyone making valid points and not resorting to "pissing".
  7. Sorry, just seemed like you were doing the generic piss-take from someone whos against modifying cars. I do agree with your points on daft modifying, I've seen enough guys with bikes going after bhp figures, makes them alright on a strip or on a track but pretty useless on the road. I do have a small amount of experience with fast cars and their engineering, so I'd never make the typical blanket statements, I spotted one a while back on some Ford forum that some guy with an XR4x4 with 300bhp was faster than a Ferrari... I was just saying if he wanted a really fast car for £16k, and the R32 was on his list then it could be done. Thought about a Monaro VXR? Probably return about 15/20 to the gallon if you're lucky, but it's within your budget.
  8. Makes me laugh when people post stuff like that, assuming that we don't know what we're talking about. The fact of the matter is, I don't want an R32 and doubt I'll ever buy one, just saying I know someone who owns one, and you can get a turbo kit which will give 450-500bhp for about £5k. And they don't blow up or break down that often, he knows someone with one thats covered about 30k with the turbo making that sort of power and it hasn't missed a beat, and the service intervals aren't that different from a standard one. Just pointing out what kind of R32 he could get for £16k, that's all.
  9. Got any pics? I wanna see this. EDIT: OK, they're showing up now.
  10. Jardos going to shoot me down, but Sierra RS500? For 16k you can get a mental R32, my dad's mate has a standard one which cost him 10k and it was immaculate. You can buy one, get a turbo or supercharger kit installed, then you're laughing! He told me you could get a turbo kit that can take it up to about 500bhp, which I think he said costs about £5k.
  11. No shit, why do you think I said it if I didn't already think that was the problem? Got the driver installed now anyway, sorted.
  12. Yes it's a constant thorn in my eye. Currently speaking from within Windows 7! Seems OK, quite fast but a bit jerky. No graphics card drivers installed yet though.
  13. Because, Edward, that doesn't work very well. (Alright for truing, shite for building in my experience).

    Echo Forks

Trialtech or Viz, soo much better than Echos.
  15. You would have thought that in good light that Daddy's amazing camera would have been able to get a decent picture, but alas. Seems to work ok. I want a matching 22" though, theres space on the desk for them. (Just...).
  16. That rim has been ground a few too many times. Good work.
  17. Click on someones name on their post and click add friend. Made you read!
  18. 110 posts in a week isn't a lot though to be honest, theres a lot of people on here who I doubt go below that. But seriously, 38 pages of friends?! This isn't facebook or bebo mate, the friends you add on here generally are your friends.
  19. Like training courses? Just go on rides with others and copy them.
  20. Yeh what a complete arsehole, imagine copying something that a better rider has done. Who'd be gay enough to do that????
  21. KMC Z610, I'm truely amazed with mine, it's worn better than any other chain I've ever had, it hasn't rusted at all even in the rain, and it is the lightest chain available! (Unless you go for scary roadie/xc chains).
  22. 09 lever with GU lever blade, filed down the lever stop and filed the lump off for the blade bolt and replaced with a filed down nilock nut, metal TPA. Monty splitter with standard Maggy hose. Two M8/M6 slaves with the line from each splitter going into a nut and shroud. (Much harder to kick the lines off than with barbs). Mixture of water and pro-cool bleed. Tensile mounts filed down so my two bolt Echo booster can be bolted straight onto it with using spacers. Much stiffer and no loss of bite. Heatsink Yellow material in Phatpads backings. Can't get it working how I want though. The lever piston sticks in the body and the pads don't hold well enough.
  23. I think that those "HD" Cameras, (They really aren't at all), do videos at about 640x480, which is about 0.3MP. Hardly 1080p is it? You can sidehop OK, get a mixture of moves in there next time though dude.
