Oz, read the thread again mate. He was given two free frames by Marino, sold one straight away instead of testing it, then destroyed the other one. Instead of reporting back to them and modifying the prototype, he posted it up here for a laugh. Fair enough if he wasn't sponsered by them, but they gave him free stuff to do a job, make Marino more popular and sell their frames. The only thing thats going to happen now is that they'll sell less. If you ask me TF isn't full of stuck-up prats at all, theres a few nobheads but most people are alright and are just expressing their opinion. Name me another sponsered rider that posts up their stuff when it breaks? They never do, because they're supposed to promote and sell their company to people, not do the opposite.

Nah maybe 13psi but 3? I run more than that in my motorbike's rear tyre, and that's like 6 inches wide! 3psi wouldn't even hold you off the floor, you'd be rimming it just riding in a straight line!

They made a few prototypes and they're being tested last I heard. I think someone mentioned to me that hope will sell you one if you phone them up but I think that was just a rumor. I've no idea how Danny Swindlehurst got his but I think he bought it from someone else.

That won't work, if you took material off the spacer on the drive side the lockring would foul the frame, and if you took it off the disc side the disc mount would be very close to the frame, especially when you're talking about taking 10mm off! The way hope do it I think is they made a much smaller drive shell with only just enough space for one sprocket, and then just put two bearings in it instead of three. (I think).

Definately a Pro2, I've known a couple of people with profiles and they've had loads of trouble with them.

I think idea that actually the universe expands then contracts again and crushes back down to nothing, then expands again. Thing is, does this mean we are playing our lives out the same over and over again, or is it different each time it expands? Which comes back to the whole fate Vs choice argument. Theres actually lot of evidence to support the Big Bang theory if you care to look... I like the whole idea behind having a god that built everything and makes us alright but I don't believe it, theres a lot of evidence to say that we evolved from animals and that the big bang happened, whereas the only evidence for the bible and god being true is mostly circumstantial. Yes but when you're talking about trials bikes, most people just say standard so no-one gets confused, but meh we know the spec now. I thought Onza Citrus pads were the best I used on a mod, they wear out pretty fast but the bite and hold was good.

Try reading the thread again and calming down Hannah, you'll notice that no-one said anything like that, we simply said that the whole healing thing proving the existance of some dude in the clouds was bollocks. No-one can actually prove if there is a god or not, I don't believe there is but that's my opinion, not a fact. Different pads behave differently on different set-ups. We'd need to know what rim you have, what frame you have, stock/mod, HS33/Vee, booster/no booster etc. And whats wrong with the snowies? It says stock on your profile but your name has T-Vee in it, just asking because it's not sure if you have a stock or a mod. Stock is 26", Mod is 20" just in case you didn't know.

Depends what rim/grind/brake you have.

I wouldn't change to 64 XP straight away if I were you. From what I've heard it's really buggy and crashes a lot. Thought about Windows 7? I've been testing it a bit and it's surprisingly good for an RC. I broke it though, it BSODs every time I try and load it up now. Good choice! Sounds like a good spec.

Looks like you've settled into the Rockman well Andrew! How are you finding it compared to the MBK?

The "04" HS33s have actually been going since the mid 90s, those are Tomac HS22s, I'm pretty certain of it but they might well have been called HS33s. They're not that bad anyway from what I hear.

Anything will do as long as you lubricate it really, I just use whatever is in the red squirty can. I think I put 10w40 in there last but can't be sure.

No the majority of validated members use half-decent english, because it makes it easier to read. It takes almost no extra time to write you, or to start sentences with a capital.

The keyboard is absolutely brilliant, I was typing as fast as I can on this! EDIT: Well nearly. I'm sure I could type as fast on it if I got used to it. It wasn't like most laptops I go on though, I felt at home straight away.

What makes them better than the Samsung NC10? They seem just the same according to the specs.

What would you recommend? I'll definately be sticking with XP. I like Ubuntu but I've never managed to really get on with it. May well try it with a Live CD though... I'm pretty sold, if I get one I'll probably get one of these.

Thats pretty much what this is, 1.6ghz Atom, 1gb DDR2, Intel 945GSE 128MB Integrated Graphics. Seems to do the job easily enough! It's got fecking Kaspersky on it aswell which will be slowing it down more than my usual Zone Alarm + AVG combo. I've been reading up and several people say they can get about 5 hours with wifi on and backlight on full. I can't get Dreamweaver to open for some reason, but I'm running Kompozer and Photoshop CS3 off the same pen drive and it's not lagging any more than my desktop and far less than the shite one at work.
