Do I feel a new Trials-Forum Badger Appreciation Society coming on? Que the sigs...
  2. Calm down Matty, it's not the end of the world. Deep breaths now, think of the sea...
  3. Just means the brake grabs hold of the rim as soon as the pads touch it, (lots of bite), as apposed to it not stopping the wheel until all the pressure is on the lever (not much bite). Thats the best way I can think of explaining it. Hold is how well the brake can stop the wheel from slipping when the brakes on full, just in case you wanted to know.
  4. Monty Eagle Claws are far better than creepys on the rear if you ask me, they're slightly bouncier but grip loads better and they're lighter.
  5. I'd say 2 bolt, most frames are stiff enough not to need a 4 bolt, so you can just use a 2 bolt and get more bite.
  6. Why not just get a decent tensioner?
  7. I use a track pump and a football pump needle, just clean the bar, slide them on as far as you can, then sick the needle in there, squeeze it to seal it and pump as you pull down the bar, normally just shoots on straight away. I usually pump the pump several times before to get the condensation out, it takes a while sometimes but better than it going under your grips!
  8. Nope, can't see them either.
  9. Ah yes, forgot about them, I also use Ad-Aware. I'd also say download Eusing Registry cleaner from download.com, gets loads of stuff CCleaner doesn't. (CCleaner also gets a load of stuff Eusing doesn't get.)
  10. I'd wipe it and start again, sounds way to f**ked to be bothering with! I'd get AVG and ZoneAlarm straight away if you wipe it, before you even connect it to the internet. Download the latest version to a pen drive or CD and get them installed before anything else. (May sound like I'm over careful, but if you're reinstalling your OS you want to do it right from the beginning).

Yeh, I was sure I'd already replied in the RSQ thread but it disappeared, must have been replying to both at the same time.

Dunno, havn't tested them yet and as mine have two cracks in them, I doubt they'll last long enough to find out. (Just above the disc mount and the other dropouts has started to fall off).
  13. My mate runs 18:16, I can't even ride his bike it's so low, whenever I got to tap I end up taking off miles away from the wall. I run 16:13 because I'm a spaz, no-one else likes it really.
  14. Alright mate, I'm KuelMuel on TrialsCentral. (They still haven't changed my name...). I'll report you for validation.
  15. Yeh well unlike you and most others I actually like Charlie, so I wanted to make my point without being too nasty to him.
  16. Yeh, you could have just not posted here CJ and got in touch with Steve, that way you wouldn't make yourself look like a pedantic twat. I'm not meaning to be offensive mate but come on, why would you post on a public forum instead of getting in touch with Steve first unless you were trying to make him look bad? Chances are Steve Rogers just had the pic because he's in it and automatically assumed he had copyright seeing as he's in it and sent it to Steve. If you ask me the law is bollocks anyway, if you're in a picture you should have say over what happens to it, regardless of who shot it.
  17. I've done that several times, works great. Just wrap tape round to make them the same width as the bar.
  18. No I honestly wouldn't because I'm not that sensitive, I'd just explain why I like it and leave them to their opinions. How is it offensive if someone says trials is shit? You must lead a very unhappy life if you let it get to you every time anyone criticises anything you do.
  19. I'd go for white rims, black everything else if I were you mate, bikes that are all red or green or blue really do look shite in my opinion.
  20. When you say shitty hill, is it actually a proper steep one? I've only ever ridden up here so the hills are generally pretty steep. I'd never dream of trying them fixed or singlespeed. EDIT: Ever ridden a track? If you havn't, you really need to. I went to a thing at the velodrome in Manc once, it was surprisingly fun.
  21. Yeh you would be, on flat. If you are talking about actual road riding though with hills and stuff, not a chance.
  22. Haha, how narrow minded is that! Thats like me giving an opinion on horse riding, it looks to me like they are an obselete pain in the arse, but at least I can see quite plainly that I'm wrong due to the amount of horse riders in the UK.
  23. Well in that case you need to learn to read, no one has insulted anyone in here, it's a DISCUSSION. If you're too narrow minded that people can't challenge your beliefs and values without it offending you, then I feel sorry for you. I think it's a hilarious concept that you can get insulted by someone challening the existance of God or the validity of the bible and proving it with cast iron evidence. You can still believe in stuff you know! In case you havn't noticed, no-one in here has tried to show you the "truth", just tried to show you how blinkered your view is! (In my opinion).
  24. My mate used to do 3 different local free paper rounds at once, they'd get delivered to his dads house every friday night, then he'd just take them all down to the paper bank! Took several trips though, there were about 200 on each round so I suppose he was actually working for it.
