  1. Are we counting bits bought from Ad second hand? It's got to be around £1500 if that the case, and I buy as much as I can second hand.
  2. Nah you don't have too, but I reckon that if you want to use all of the pads up, you might have to take a couple of mm off the ends of the prongs, or just set it up with a load of TPA. We used to do it with plastic backings when the prongs started to rub the rim, it's not hard. I've heard of the heatsink ones snapping the pins off, but they're a lot tighter on the piston than my PhatPads. I can't see how they can snap the prongs off, they put as much pressure on the prongs as the plastic ones I would have thought?
  3. Ah right, nah up here phrases like that are only ever said when arguing. Thinking about it it might well have been the maggy ones I had trouble with, it was a set of citrus pads anyway I used for a couple of weeks before I got the Phatpads, they seemed to work well but they flexed loads, the backings were actually bent when I took the material out (Experimenting with different methods just for future reference), and one had cracked in one of the corners in the centre where the prongs sit, didn't really inspire me with confidence... My mate had a set of the rimjam backings, they lasted about 3 weeks, brand new aswell.
  4. Calm down love... My "beef" is that they flex way too much, the pads wear at funny angles, they roll too much, and I've heard of a few snapping. I cracked one and I don't even give them a hard time. I wasn't talking cost, simply stating what I thought. Maybe I should have either explained myself or not said it though...
  5. This version is infinately better. http://www.vimeo.com/4363948 Maybe a bit too heavy though haha, cheers Dave.

    The Swine Thread

She's learning! I think that we'll all be dead by tommorrow morning. Meh, I'm getting bored now.
  7. Nope, because they are a sack of shit.
  8. Sounds like you have malware Ed, but more to the point, what the f**k are you doing with the olive XP theme?! It looks like someones thrown up on it!
  9. I asked about a seatless stock frame, he reckoned it would be about 2.3kg, so I didn't bother with it. I'm guessing a 24 would be similar?
  10. Looking good Jonny, looks like it suits you having a long bike. Have started going to the gym again by any chance?
  11. I think I'll have that frame and forks next, also sponsored by the SLC.
  12. I'd say yes, but give mods the power, then all you have to do is report one of your posts and anyone can do it. Too many people change too often, and the whole pretending to be a celebrity thing is just annoying.
  13. Probably just your likkle shoulders then mate.
  14. I just wait until someone bullies me into sponsoring them for something, seems to work well enough.
  15. Looking good matey! Might be an idea to experiment with cutting your bars down though, they look really wide like they're restricting your riding. Just move the levers up and down so you can experiment with your hands in different places on the grips if you want to try it, you just look really stiff, I've always found it much easier with fairly short bars. (I've got 29" trialtechs at the moment though. ).
  16. Where was the HD footage? Was alright, some nice moves in there Jamie. That first sidehop up to fronty thing was smooth.
  17. I agree, they should be recalled and replaced with Lites or the stock equivilant (I have yet again, forgotten what forks I have... The stock version of Lites anyway).
  18. Speeling isn't that important, but if you want to get validated make sure you use capital letters and full stops, it just shows you're making the effort. There was a topic not too long ago. Basically, if you are in any way a harsh rider, steer clear. Even some of the smoothest riders have found them to be really flexy and weak.
  19. Since I got a bash ring on my mod I never caught them again. (My stock had a ring when I got it). Now I can ride in jeans instead of shitty trackies!

    My Brute Thread

I got up to level 7 last night, I thought I'd get something cool like a big club or a hammer. Nope, one extra strength bar. One. f**k this shitty game, jamlegend is where it's at!
  21. Parkway Drive please. Either Romance Is Dead or Blackout I reckon.
  22. Me, I thought it was going to be interesting! You locked you bike up where you weren't supposed too. Pay the fine! It's only £20, or you could easily get caught. What if you get caught trying to con them out of a new bike? Not worth the risk for the sake of £20 if you ask me.

    F1

I think it would be boring as shit if they all had the same car, they're all so good that it would just be shaving tenths of a second of each other laps and instead of daring moves, they'd have to sit behind each other until one spun off.
  24. RE EDITS GAY. First song was so much better. What you really want to do is get some death or thrash metal in there though, that'll sort it.
  25. If you don't like the song, mute it and play your own music. Thats what I do with most videos I watch because the music always too soft! Why does every video with a heavy track get slated on here? It's up to the video's creator what song they put in, they have their own reasons. I've never seen a video slated for having a pop/indy track, yet I'm sure theres a fair few other people besides me that hates that sort of music, but they don't feel the need to say anything... If you've got an opinion about the song to add, maybe state it as an opinion, or just poke fun like Prawn did? Instead of just calling it screamo shite? It's lamb of god anyway, how do you class that as "screamo"... Just my opinion, feel free to pull me up on anything.
