No it won't. It can do gaps, but it can also go round in circles.

I say street trials. Slightly pointless, you could just ride them?
  3. Tried spacing the jockey wheels out with washers?
  4. I would never buy a mod frame without a disc mount, it makes no sense not to. The mod market is full of strong, light mods with the geo you want and the option of disc or magura. If you want to appeal to a wider customer base, provide both disc and maggy! it seems not many frames do that at the moment. Just my opinion, it's the only gap in the market I can see that hasn't already been plugged.

Nah, first post I believe. What a batty boy! Looked so painful when he landed though.
  6. I just put all my weight on the bike to get it in straight then lamp them up.
  7. Are they just bashplate rubber? In all seriousness though, will they be going into production?
  8. I know someone who did it, he reckons it took him about 8 hours.
  9. What specs your bike Dave? Must be pretty dated now.
  10. I gap how you were told, it makes it much easier when you get the hang of it. I don't go as far foward as having my hub in line with the edge though I go so that the rear axle is about 4-6 inches back from the edge of the take off, then drop the nose so they wheels are nearly level (This also rolls the rear wheel foward closer to the edge, and compresses the tyre), as I drop the nose I preload my left pedal (I'm left foot foward), then let the brake off and kick hard with my left leg, but also explode off the edge with my whole body. If you drop the nose enough, you can throw your weight foward off the edge by pulling the bars really hard, and rather than the nose coming back up you'll just explode further off the edge. That's how I do it anyway, the best way is to just practice and just find whats gets you the furthest.
  11. It does feel wrong at first, but when you get the hang of it they're so much easier. I say that, but I go through phases of learning them again then forgetting them for months at a time.
  12. Looks nice that Andrew, I wasn't keen on the frames at all but that does look pretty good!
  13. He's doing a bucket bleed.... And water and windscreen wash are both fluids.
  14. MBK looks nice, those bars are so far foward though! Is that an XL125 in the background I see? That looks really smart for a trail bike anyway! I've always wanted an XR500.
  15. It's not worth it mate, you spend hours drilling and filing, and you end up with a bike that's maybe 300g lighter if you're lucky. Get lighter tyres and wheels.
  16. Don't do it Mike, you WILL destroy it in no time.
  17. My Monty's were mint, they lasted me ages. They're mega light and strong enough if you're not a basher.
  18. Get Monty TI cranks or Try-Alls, they are by far the best mod cranks if you ask me.
  19. 5 parts water, 3 parts oil? That's a lot Jack, I'd be running it with 1 part oil to be honest
  20. Hope for life, I've had mine for 8 months and I've had one problem, I snapped a spring the other night. I bought one from Tarty today for £1.96, that's all it's cost me in 8 months and it never skipped before the spring snapped, well worth it if you ask me!

  22. I'd go for an emulsion fluid, then it's light like water, but you don't get the problems of sticky pistons in the slaves and the lever piston jamming up.
