  1. That's not a trials bike, it's a park/street bike. It might be OK for learning stuff like trackstanding, but getting up walls it straight out. It's got a really high gear ratio, the brakes won't be good enough, the geometry isn't suited to trials at all and it probably weighs about 14kg. If I were you I'd try and cancel the order or send it back if you can, if you want to get into trials you'll only end up changing it for a trials bike anyway. If it has V mounts and you have come Evo clamps for it then it will fit.
  2. I liked it, song was decent! Onza suits you Danny.

Seemed a good race to me, Barrichello made a couple of daring moves, button drove really well.
  4. There isn't much you can do to pull dents out, the frame tubes are so thick it's not easy. You can't get to the other side to hammer it out, it's to thick to suck it out, and it's probably too thick to pull out by soldering something to it.
  5. Multi press, predictive gets on my tits and doesn't predict puntuation.
  6. Thats not how web design works I'm afraid mate. It's done as projects, if you want a project doing and the designer wants to take it on he will, if he's too busy then he doesn't have to. Thats if you're freelance instead of employed. Jon's been incredibly busy recently, I've hardly spoken to him in the last month or so. If he has the time to take this job on he'll get back in touch.
  7. Must be a modern bike thing, you guys don't need to open the throttle to the stop to get up big steps.
  8. I always do when I'm riding biketrials, but whenever I get on a motorbike I always cover the clutch with one finger, but not neccesarily the front brake. I realised the other day on my road bike I was covering the clutch. Dunno why, I always use four fingers to pull it in!
  9. Is that it? My bike is 97kg, weighes it myself! Pansy. Do you always cover it? I only do in technical stuff, for climbs and steps I don't, I can't get the throttle open enough if I do. If you've got boots, where them! I know someone who knackered his ankle just playing on his mates bike.
  10. A little? They're 2.3kg! They are amazing frames though, probably the best frame I've ever owned. If I ever get another mod it will probably be a Zona. (Heavily modified to save some weight!) They maggy mounts are really deep though, if you get longer bolts and cut them down to fit, you can get over 10mm of thread inside the frame, so you'll have to be incredibly ham fisted to strip them. Mine was 1070 with T-Pro forks and a knackered chain, 1045 with Echo Lites and the same chain, so with a nice new chain it should be about 1040 with decent forks.
  11. Pretty beasty Dave! You have your levers backwards? I liked the music.

Shit! Must stick the tape on, I'm watching a motorbike sprint today.
  13. It doesn't really matter that it's female specific, just get one that fits her.
  14. Definately one of the worst frames I've ever ridden, they're really cramped and the BB feels really low from what I can remember, it's been a couple of years since I rode one. I definately remember that when I had my T-Pro and my mate had the T-Mag, we both prefferred the T-Pro even though mine had a front maggy and he had an Eno FFW over my ACS. £250 isn't that good a price for one either, I've seen much better bikes go for that sort of money.
  15. Mine does it when I over tighten the drive side hub bolt every time, the bearings are fine as I just had them out this week to replace a snapped spring. Just slacken the drive side bolt, you'll probably find it just goes away. (Unless it is the bearings that are shagged on your case, and I'm talking shite).

    My Brute Thread

    Tried reading the topic itself?
  17. 180 EPs? Haha, that's just asking for trouble. Theres no need for that many surely? I realise that they're the best riders in the world, but surely they don't need that many. A 72 EP ffw is too many for me, I can't feel them engage properly! Give me a Tensile or Pro 2 any day.
  18. It would have done, if they'd mentioned Trials on the BBC. Happy for Danny anyway, must be amazing being able to ride full time.
  19. Get new brass nipples and a decent spoke key, the only reason I've ever rounded a nipple was because the spoke key was a sloppy fit. 4x? Bit of an overkill on a Mod wheel? Maybe you should look at your riding style if you're killing a wheel with that build...
  20. Or just click the Video link in the links in the top right of every page.
  21. Medium - Heavy grind, decent pads, no tar as it's utter shite.

It is neither a street bike or a trials bike, it's just a bike that does whatever you want. Now quit bitching and ride them!
  23. Nope, I'm sure I was tought in Primary School and maybe history at Secondary School, but I can't remember any of it. I hated history though, I dropped it as soon as I possibly could.

I'd build one if I were you, or get one second hand. For that sort of money you could get a pretty decent full susser.
