  1. I can't watch in HD, my computer is too slow. It must be their end. I did find that the problem is only in FireFox and not IE7, is this the same for everyone?
  2. He rode for years though before he joined.
  3. I didn't see Pitbull short? I saw Pure 04. Which arn't made any more, and are hard to come by.

Yeh it sounds like the Brawn car's are going to be good, sounds like they've still got some stuff to sort on them though, but if the laptimes are already this good then they should do really well. I don't normally bother watching qualifying, but I think I might tommorrow, just to see how things are shaping up. You should watch it this year! A new team that seems really promising, and the biggest rule changes in over 10 years, including the KERS thing, which basically means that they can press a button and get 85bhp extra for 6.6 seconds per lap. It's going to be fun.
  6. Black Monty TIs I think. EDIT: How slow am I...

Bump time ladies! From what I've heard it's going to be even more interesting now, Hamilton's car isn't up to scratch apparantly, he's had loads of trouble with it. The new Brawn GP team turned up to analysis thingy today and posted the second fastest laptimes out of everyone, and Hamilton came in 18th place out of 20. Should be interesting then! I'd imagine Maher might be watching in Dubai again, I think he watched most of last season.
  8. 16:13 with 170mm cranks seems perfect to me!
  9. They should make a new modern frame, with similar tubing to the patriots and stuff like that, disc and maggy mounts etc. How about custom geo? If they're made in England it can't be that hard to make one with custom geo.
  10. Well you can grind it off then, and Onza can sell more frames because they're opening themelves up to the whole market. I think I know more mod riders with rear disc than with maggy, it's certainly close. Also you have to considor, this frame weighs like 1.6kg, which means it's got to be more for natural/comps, where loads of people are moving over to discs all the time...
  11. I like the design of the frame a lot, the little tube looks cool, and the bb to chainstay yoke (sp?) is really nice. Not keen on the duel top-tube though, I just can't see the point of it? It's extra width to hit your legs on, and it's not like that's really a weak area? The limeys a really nice design though, I think it looks really nice, I'd just loose the hyroglyphics from the "paint" and sell it, it'd look great!
  12. Why do you need a bike that light though, bit weak and feeble these days? I can't be arsed making mine lighter now, it's just over 10 I think, so I really can't be bothered spending any more on it.
  13. Doing weights and getting big won't help much with trials, because they tend to build the slow twitch muscle fibres, who need more of the fast twitch ones that give you explosive power. Explosive power mostly comes from your legs IMO, so jumping squats should be useful. Any aerobic stuff will help in comps though because you won't get tired as quickly, but you'll still have problems like forearm, hand and finger cramp. Just ride your bike as often as you can, that way you're training to ride your bike better at the same time as working out.
  14. I'd already seen all that, just trying to help and generate some ideas for you to think about... All the bikes I've seen the pro riders riding are two-tone, I was simply posting my opinion!
  15. Not if you have a 13kg barge, but if your bike is already under 9-10kg then yes, it's a fair bit.
  16. Why do you keep saying 37g? Did you not read my post?
  17. I worked that out using the weight of a front Conti Mountain King 2.2 supersonic and a front Try-All mod tyre, just worked out the ratio and used that to work out the weight it would be if it was a 20" tyre. A rear 19" Rain King would be about 700g. A rear 19" Rubber Queen would be about 615g. A rear 19" Mountain King 2.4" Supersonic would be about 401g! I think the Rain King would be the only decent one for a mod though, the Rubber Queens are really bouncy and roll fairly easily, on a Mod it would be even worse! Your idea is right, but you can easily get a fork thats 300g lighter and it will still last for ages if you're not a basher, especially if you ride Mod.
  18. Yeh I'd loose the two-tone finishes to be honest, powdercoated colours are all the rage at the moment, orange, green, white, black etc. (Not red, blue, yellow, pink). Maybe have a service where you can choose the colour of the frame before you buy it? Then it gets powder coated the colour you want, and supplied with a sticker kit that you can use to make it look how you want?
  19. The stock tyre is 478g, and it's 26", if they made a 20" version, it would be even lighter. By my reckoning it would be about 370g, which is a saving of about 150g over a Try-All, which would make a big difference.
  20. How does not wearing a belt make your bike lighter? Seriously....
  21. I've got TI bolts in mine. They're M10, can't remember the pitch but I think it's 1.25mm

I find it easiest to turn the bike upside down, get the front wheel straight then measure both sides, if they're different, just estimate somewhere in the middle. You can normally get it to the nearest mm.
  23. I snapped the one you gave me I'm ashamed to say. I did modify it though so it was for the right chain thickness, I took it apart and ground the spacers down. I've made a big, ugly, rattley twin wheel tensioner for it now, seems to work alright though.
  24. That's one of mine I think.
