  1. Yeh Jeff! They told me that when they offered me my places, it was based on my UCAS Application and whether I got the results, so all I have to do now is get my 240 points. Whats the course?
  2. If that's the case then I wouldn't be wiping my computer....
  3. Haha I love it, it's just like a big Mod! I was running it with a Monty TI bar and stem recently, but it was a bit too long.

Which bike? I'm not selling my Kot and I'd only sell my Echo, It's the nicest mod I've ever owned so I'll either sell it or keep it.

Thanks for getting in touch though.

  5. I've just got a maggy for my Stock, I had a 180mm mono trial for ages, and I just couldn't get on with it. On a stock wheel the whole rear of the bike feels too flexy, (Although Kot frames are flexy anyway), and it didn't bite enough for my liking, and it was really heavy towards the rear. With a FFW, a stiff frame and a 200mm rotor it would be a big improvement though I reckon.
  6. Cheers, me too. I don't think it will change much now. Thanks for clearing that up, is it a 4-Jeri tensioner then? I honestly can't remember what Adam said. It's amazing anyway, I get some stupid tension on it. Cheers Ben!

    Flat Or Riser

    I find them unrideable.
  8. Well I would have been happy to let you have a go, but now I'm not so sure.
  9. Get in touch with 1handedluke, as the name suggests, he'll no doubt love to be part of this project. EDIT: Too slow.
  10. Why does it matter how many seniors there are? If SMC is being over used then I could see the point, but from what I've heard the number of Todays topics rarely go off the first page.
  11. Hey, The bolts are TI ones, and yes the right hand one goes straight through the tensioner. I'm not entirely certain what the tensioner is, I think it's a 4-Jeri though. They are M10 and the tensioner has a 10mm hole straight through it, as to how to remove the original bolt or where to get one of the tensioners, I don't actually know, it was on the bike when I bought it from Tarty Adam. EDIT: Any more comments? Good or bad I'd like to hear them so I can get ideas. I'm thinking black forks if these die on me.
  12. The Rubber Queen is bigger than a front tread Minion, and it just about fits in my Kot MS2 frame. Rubs when the frame flexes over. These are supposed to be fantastic though. Linky.

    New Bars

Rage on a Mod, Trialtech on a Stock. Well seeing as he's edited his post out, mine now makes no sense. He asked which Rage bars would be best on, I'd always go for Monty TI bars on a Mod over Rages.

    New Bars

Another vote for TrialTech! Best bars I've ever used on a stock.

    Predicament!

You lost a finger?! Which one?
  16. Work can't afford it, and wouldn't buy it anyway if they could.
  17. Just downloaded KompoZer 0.7.10, it seems really good on first glance. The FTP Site manager thingy looks almost the same as DreamWeavers.
  18. Alright mate I might be selling this http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=123188

  19. Kris needs a handicap, like having both arms cut off before the fight begins.
  20. I thought there were different levels of the Data Protection act? Like different types of data have different security restrictions. i couldn't give a f**k if Dan has my address, age, phone number, bra size etc because that's all stuff I'd gladly tell my Mum, but do i want him keeping my card details after I've paid for something? f**k no! Therefore he's holding information about me without my permission, and it must therefore be against the law.
  21. I had mine way before you Will, so I should be congratulating you really. Good choice sir!
  22. That's probably because it is. TrialTech bars, TMS 130x30 stem (I think) + 25mm of stackage.
  23. Cheers mate, I really like them too. I don't have a camera any more. Fair enough mate, I love the way it looks but you're totally entitled to your opinion, thanks for commenting. I'm really pleased with how it's come out, i got the hoses cut to the right legnth first time. Hey Bruce, I'll take a pic of my ground anchor/oxford lock combo tommorrow maybe? the lock is so big it's an effort to get through my Echos frame, so feel free to come and have a go. I didn't think it would make much of a difference besides tidying up the hose routing, but I'm sure it makes it more responsive.
  24. The rims appear to make it into a chav magnet after todays ride haha. I'm loving the maggy, it suits this bike so much better than the disc. I still love discs on mods, and I think if the frame and wheel were stiffer it would have worked a lot better, I've just fancied one for a while! For anyone wondering I weighed it today, 9.9kg. It wasn't that hard to bleed when I got into it, it's still trickier than a normal one but it makes the hose routing so much neater. The hardest bit was building the hose up with it in.
  25. Hey, I've changed a lot of stuff recently on my Kot and given it a really good clean, so I thought I'd take some snaps and get them up! Frame: Kot MS2 Long Forks: Echo Controls Front Wheel: Viz Hub on an Atomz Rim Rear Wheel: TartyBikes Pro 2 Hub on an Atomz Rim Front Tyre: Try-All. Rear Tyre: Continental Rubber Queen. Cranks: Middleburn RS7 Super Pro. Front Brake: 07 Hope Mono Trial Rear Brake: 08 Maggy. Handle Bar: TrialTech Stem: TMS Pedals: TrialTech Mags Headset: FSA Tensioner: Surley/4 Jeri. Not certain. I've just bought the maggy in bits, I got two M8/M6 slaves with a Monty splitter, so each line has a shroud and an olive so I can't kick it off. I've done a few other little mods aswell. If you're wondering about the copper washer on the bleed bolts, thats because they leaked when i first did them up, I didn't find out why, I just stuck the washers in which have appeared to seal them after todays ride, but I'll be keeping a close eye on it. It'l have the new PhatPads when they arrive, I've heard amazing things! Mini Update - 8th Feb I was getting some pictures of my Echo today because I'm selling it, and this was really clean after riding in the snow yesterday so I got some pics of this aswell. The only changes are it now has a Hope front rotor which I find gives a bit more bite and hold than the Gusset and it's got CNC PhatPads in, which so far I'm pretty impressed with! The wear rates really good, they took ages to wear into the camber of the rim. I also changed the Carbon lever blade to an original Mini lever blade as I much prefer them, they're squarer and quite a lot stiffer.
