It's got something called "water cooling", and 2 cylinders with 4 spark plugs and 6 valves! For anyone interested, it's one of these: It's got some massive fairing fitted at the moment, but that's coming off. It's almost mint, and I paid £600 for it. It's ugly but incredibly good condition for a 26 year old bike and doesn't appear to have anything wrong with it...

The last i5 to be 2.8ghz appears to have been the 760, so it's a 4 year old CPU which was £150-170 when new. Now worth about £50 as it's second hand. If it was unused, about £75. Motherboard is not worth £100 if it runs the 760 CPU unless it was a £300+ board when new. Your estimate of £60 is probably closer to the mark. What is the case? Unless it was a TJ07 or something posh it won't be worth that much. GTX660 is outdated now, they're £130-140 to buy brand new everywhere. A second hand one maybe £80-90. -- I think with a monitor, keyboard and mouse, £400 is about right. Not an amazing deal but a fairly good one. To get something significantly faster you'd be looking at spending a grand or more. I'd buy it, chuck an SSD in it and run it until it dies. It's all faster kit than my computer and mine runs most things.

Can you get a spec? 16gb of RAM, and i5 and a £200 card isn't much to go on... Depends which i5, which graphics card, how good the RAM is, what case it is, whether it has a decent PSU, if it has an SSD etc.

I had discussions like that with my previous girlfriend who said shit like "I just want the control back", really they want the excitement that comes with meeting new people IMO, Not meaning sex necessarily but the thrill of flirting and first dates and stuff. If she's still saying that sort of thing whilst also saying she misses you and wants you back, she doesn't miss you enough and a month down the line you'll be all upset wondering what she's up to when you're not with her. I'm with JD. No-one suggests a break if they truly want to hold on to someone. They talk and work it out.

I ran a similar setup for several years, drove me crazy. It's a subjective thing, entirely depends on how much of an anal b*****d you are. I'm incredibly anal so it annoys me that I can't get the picture on my right hand monitor to be identical to the other 2. (It's whites are whiter than the other 2 as it's about a year younger).

Hmmm depends what you're doing, but in my experience even if they're from different batches the picture can be slightly different, which makes it hard to focus. I don't game as much on mine these days, I only really develop codey things, but that means a lot of switching back and forth between monitors so maybe I'm more sensitive than most.
