  1. That's okay then. Any advice on calibre choice? From what I've shot before, I think a .22 would probably suit my requirements best, but you guys sound more experienced than me. What are the pros and cons of .177 and .22?
  2. Excellent. Any tips on owning the gun? The bit I don't fully understand are the rules about keeping the rifle at home. Do you require a full gun cabinet for an air rifle, or can it be kept in an unlocked cupboard?
  3. I'm looking into buying a new air gun, and wondered if anyone on here knows much about them, and owning them. I'm 20, I live in the middle of nowhere, and I've done quite a bit of shooting before, mainly with high power air rifles. I've read up all I can find on the legal side of it, and I don't need any kind of licence if the gun is less powerful than 12 foot lbs (which is more than enough for what I need). However, it says that if I was convicted for an offence in the future, the fact I would be a firearm owner can be brought up in court, and have a big affect on sentencing, even if it is completely unrelated. Does anyone know any more about this? I'm looking to use it for pest control on our land, and target shooting. I may also ask permission to shoot on the neighbouring farm/woodland, but obviously I'd get written permission from the land owner, and try not to do anything stupid.
  4. If you are more cheese than human, surely that makes you a cheese with skin and bones, not a human.
  5. You could survive on £15 a week for food, and the gas/electricity to cook it on, quite comfortably.

  7. I meant Tally-Ho. It makes you shit at typing too apparently. They obviously do sell it in pints, but Adnams tell them not to.
  8. Tallt ho: Adnam's winter barley wine. Pubs are only allowed to sell it in half pints.
  9. All the B&O electronics are phillips. They just make the casing. I've always been a big fan of AKG acoustics.
  10. Trials got boring, so I started riding BMX too about 4 years ago. Trials gradually got faded out. Got rid of my leeson last year, and haven't ridden since, but I've been considering building up an old monty 221 or a similar mod again. I'll have a go at bringing bunny hops back to mods...
  11. even more of a man if you do it tomorrow morning in the petrol station, on the way to family.
  12. I got 62 with no mistakes. Meh. My grandma used to be a typist for debenhams, and could type as fast as someone was talking. They used to dictate, and she typed it out.
  13. Whern it snowed last year, I used an old longboard deck, which worked much better than a standard skate deck. I reckon it had more directional stability due to it's length. Loads of fun though!
  14. They're really impressive, especially for the money. You could have put this in rsq.
  15. Cheddar and peanut butter is always a winner. Cream cheese and pastrami. Cold sausage sandwiches are pretty awesome.

A plane would probably be easier.
  18. Without breaking the early-posting rule, we have no way of enforcing the leg-breaking rule. DILEMMA! In unrelated news: Just been talking to a friend's ex girlfriend (broke up in the last few days) about how he tried to force her into anal. I barely know her, but she properly spilt her guts (no pun intended!).
  19. We're now obliged to break both your legs.
