  9. heres a pic of my 04 echo pure, i know its a bit old school but it rides so nicely with big fat (narrow!) riser bars! heres the bike...had a few changes since this photo, now running 16:13 gearing and it rides pretty nicely and heres a riding pic for good measure! i've had other trials bikes, but this is honestly the nicest riding bike i've ever owned, despite it being short, low BB and having a seat spec for those who care: 04 pure frame pro2, dt swiss and revel wheelset, hope headset tensile cranks fsa platinum bb black 07 magura front xtr vee dmr v8s maxxis high rollers (2.5 and 2.35 super tacky) atomz 16tooth sprocket gusset bachelor 13tooth sprocket bodged alivio mech for tension fter snapping my v!z tensioner! zoo! stem monty bars onza carbon booster KMC kool the usuall really! comments welcome!

    Stock Stems

i thought that the stem felt too long on my 04 pure (100mmx10deg zoo!) with onza carbon risers so i tried a shorter stem and it still felt crap so i got some monty bars and went back to the zoo stem...feels absolutely perfect!

  19. i do my elementary up with an uber long 8mm allen key for cranks, i have about 6-8mm of bolt sticking out the other side of the stem and it never slips...never!!!
  20. dont break forks, not particularly harsh on the front end really, but will they handle the power of a 203mm BB7? because thats what i reckon i might run them with. are the disc mounts good and is the criwn stiff/strong enough to gap to front wheel?
  21. are they the pace forks? theyre for 26 inch xc bikes, although they do look quite long!
  22. does anyone reckon that the pace rc 31 carbon disc forks (HERE) will be suitable for trials? anyone else tried using them and any other carbon forks under a kilo (these ones weigh 735g!) going to be suitable for trials?
