Im 5ft 10" and Iv been riding about 6 years on and off but this summer I'v been really getting into my riding, after careful consideration about what BB rise, reach, stem length and angle and bar rise I have a set-up I am happy with AND I get to keep using riserbars WOO If someone can let me know the disadvantages of having a high riser bar I would like to read them. As for the weight of the bars, it is about 350 times less important than the weight of the back wheel. The echo rim is getting lighter with every grind HA

When the cranks and rim break they will be black, this could take some time though. Bars are nice for wheel swaps 'cause you can fit in between the rise of the bar, they also give adjustment of angle, reach and height if you wants. Plymouth ride tommorow is gonna be class!

I stuck an Alpinestars sticker over the A1 logo on the top tube, then this idea popped into my head.. Using a Stanley blade I scraped the sliver layer of paint back to the black underneath on some of the ADAMANT lettering and scraped some of the black paint off in places to show the silver of the alloy (the rest of the frame is scratched any way so bugger it) Also ran a permanent marker around the holes in my Cloud 9 bashguard, it dried to an even satin black, is perfectly circular and it only took 20 seconds.

Enough about postage, if your going to buy a frame from either Tarty or Select, who are you supposed to trust. The geo's for the same frame differ between the two sites. I can understand a slight change in wheelbase but BB rise, chainstay length? Someone cant use their ruler properly.

Last Saturday I hit my nose on my stem trying a gap, I was looking at the landing spot when my front wheel hit a wall and all my weight came foward. I have a big hole in the side of my nose where a sharp edge fo the stem dug in, I could breathe out of it before a nurse glued it up. My most unusual injury at least.

There is a guy at my work who always wears camo and has a well known obsession with guns, (his office is covered in firearm pictures,) I spoke to him about guns a few weeks ago and he told me he owns an arsenal that fills his entire house! Luckily they are decommisioned guns from Vietnam and WWII ect.. I asked him if he had any working guns and he told me if he had a working gun he would come into work on a killing rampage! EERIE silence followed and I never spoke to him again. This guy obviously has the same morals and social respect as that asshole from Virginia but dosent want to die or go to prison. I really wanna beat this guys face into the floor just for thinking like that, I know I should get to know him a bit better to clarify what hes like but I can tell he is a sad, twisted willy. Its a shame no action could be taken to prevent the massacre 2 days ago, just like I cant prevent a massacre at my work, he hasnt DONE anything wrong...yet.

Tried a 9 foot drop yesterday without building up to it. My left foot wasnt close enough to the crank when landing, it slipped off the pedal so I landed on the tyre. Could still ride for the rest of the day fine but now my ankle is aching. You cant mess around on large drops so they aint that fun.

I am 1cm taller than you and I ride a short pitbull. I am a lot more confident I can get front wheel up and over large obstacles on it despite its shorter length. On a long one I can only get up stuff by going slowly and using pedal power to hoist up the front . For that reason get the shorty Although I am used to riding an Orange Zero, which is gonna be up for sale when I can.
