  1. That was class man, your up to front wheels are well high.
  2. That was class, you got power and you aint afraid to use it. Im trying the bike rail ride tomorrow Cheers for the inspiration.
  3. I tested Johnsons Baby oil a few weeks back. Verdict: Not very good The lever and pads didnt return very fast after a while as well as mineral oil does, it handles compression ok though. Just incase anybody was wondering
  4. I've read Sapim CX-Ray are the lightest and strongest, been thinking about getting my wheels laced in them, £120 is a bit much though.
  5. Put yourself into hospital, (imagination can be used here) then when you wake up you should have a few on a shelf behind your bed.
  6. If were making general observations about the deferences between leftys and rightys it seems like leftys bail a bit better with the back brake and left foot being on the same side making it easier to get off the bike and rightys progess a bit quicker when first learning. These are both for right handed people and is quite possibly a big load of bullok
  7. Peter Kraus, Martin Kleivard and Ed Toungue Studying every advert in MBUK trying to find the best stuff for my small amount of money and learning every bike products name by accident because all the names were so cool and really made you want them. Why did Specialised stop making Evil Twins? they were awesome. Grimeca disc brakes on the other hand... Sat down trials hops and no handed endo's
  8. It is verrry nice, I used to have a bloody good laugh on grinners. The main downside from my experience using them being, your not gonna want to go riding the next day like you would after a night spent drinking. So go to church instead or rehab or life drawing classes, anything to take your mind off smoking weed on a comedown, you'll be playing those midweek blues otherwise.
  9. Opening up old shin digs really is as painfull as it seems.
  10. I use Truative Holzfeller bars, tilt them fowards slightly and you have no sweep. 710mm wide and strong a feck
  11. Give a Neon rim a try, they have double thickness sidewalls and weigh the same as a tryall and they are on sale at the mo and you wont need to buy new spokes, thats what I want to do anyway but I would like to read some reviews of them before I dive in there, I cant find anything on them.
  12. Crystal Castles - Untrust Us, Crimewave, Alice Practise and generally their whole album LALADEEWALA
  13. I rember NukeProof as MTB exotica about 10 years ago, I have a NukeProof carbon fibre front hub that weighs nothing but withstood 5 years of trials abuse and the bearings are still smooth today. If thats anything to go by they'll be great, dunno how good they are at making ratchets though.
  14. Learys dead now man, move on
  15. Ha Ha! Ive had that one a few times, oo cringeworthy I punched a hole in my face with my stem trying a gap into a doorway. I was looking down at my backwheel for some reason so I didnt notice my front wheel hit the very edge of the doorway, stopping the bike dead upright, I didnt even see it coming, the stem was burred from dropping the bike a few times. Ghuuhh..still makes me shudder.
  16. Me Si n Nik should be around, we'll find you
