    Red Echo

I have got a black stem, i dont like it. Well it was 8.3kg before i put the sl forks, viz bb, tryall cranks, ti bash and try all tire on. I'm hoping it's sub 8kg but i dont know yet. The only thing that has made it heavier is the fact it's been painted. I might 'raw' it if i get bored of the colour or it gets too scratched up.

    My New Mod

Bike looks great! I hated my DD mod, i bet the 180mm rotors make all the difference!
  6. I used to run hopes. They never slipped on drops, only on gaps and ups that i didnt quite make. I hated them personally, but many people will dissagree. Personal preferance really.

    Koxx Days 2011

I'd be up for going to bruthiers in may/june. Doesn't have to be 'koxx days' to all go and have a good time!

    Citreon Saxo

Whoever said they dont handle is lying, they handle amazingly well with the right tires and shocks. Thats about where the good points end. They are terrible to drive pedals are too close and the build quality is shocking. Look for something else would be my advise. As for insurance everything will be expensive at 17.
  9. My tnn pads have a amazing bite. The hold on them is pretty poor. I wouldnt buy them again.
  10. looks sweet. I like that look in a frame. MY mates neon looked good when i had stripped it. Good effort.
  11. Are the new deng models going to be +70 bb? That would be quite a change for them. I cant imagine how a +85 mod would feel
  12. i'll put up some piccys of the full bike when its done. I think he is going all black components, so should look the nuts.
  13. you can buy the metal washers on ebay if thats any use to you.
  14. Yea it did. One of the mounts has been tapped as well. Might have been done since you had it though. edit: geo is wb 1000 stays 350 bb rise +60 Some thing like that anyway. edit +1; he may sell the frame if anyones really like it.
  15. i said to him i might spray it ages ago and he said to go for it. About drilling.. He specifically told me not to do that or i would have.
  16. My friend left his old frame at my house, so i sanded it down and gave it a colour change hope he like Photo's dont really do it justice, looks much brighter in real life. phone camera Let me know what you think.

    Stems 20"

I've always run low rise. I changed to high recently and the only difference i found was the front comes up much easier and it feels a touch heavier on the backwheel. Other than that i didn't really notice. As for the back thing.. i think every rider has had that, just take it easy for a while because if it goes badly it's a nightmare for a long time. Oh and low rise is probably worse for your back.
  18. I'd always sacrafice durability for weight, but then i only weigh 9st and consider myself a light rider. Just depends on the individual. I wouldnt buy one thinking this is the last frame you will ever have to buy though.
  19. I'm still working sundays at the moment. So no, out a lot of evenings though. Starting doing a bit of filming today as well. You need to come out more matey. I'll txt you when we're next out. Goon and liam are always out too.

    Wraps

Just got back from a ride, bought some 'cork' on the way home. It went on a treat, my mates has gone really thin so i went quite thick with it and wrapped a few layers of insulation tape around the bar first. Only downside is i wont be able to get my maggie lever off without doing it again. I would go try it but the weather is shocking and i'm finished for the day.

    Wraps

A lad i ride with bought some grip wraps a while ago (like you get on racers) and he loves them. I'm thinking about getting some soon. Has anyone else done this? How did you get on? cheers shay
  22. I'm only just over 9st and dont do 'massive' moves so not to worried about mine breaking. I do however notice the flex in the frame, it's a shame because it rides so nicely. I wouldnt have another one
  23. There will be 4 of us out most of the day. Going to have the camera. Short notice i know but if anyone fancies it let me know.
  24. I didnt use mine, but it should be ok. It has the same pieces of metal as a normal chain link. Up to you really. If you have a chain tool handy and you can use it without making the link stiff i'd just do that. Thats what i did. Dont have to even think about it then.
