  1. So you want to change something that isnt broken just to have 'loud clicks' ? Really?
  2. My mate had the same problem as you and it turned out to be the rim tape I doubt this is the case with you, but its worth checking.
  3. Your riding is good considering how long you have been riding. You did seem a bit stiff but all in all a great effort.

Well when we ride i'll show you So the 31st it is? I can meet people off the boat if they bring a car. So you dont get lost. People just bringing there boat will come in a completely differnt place and George is miles away, so i may need some phone numbers nearer the time to sort this out. Simon has a big van for bikes but we'll have limited seats. Depends how many people come to where we can go i guess.

Much prefer this over my old Dual disk. Bike is so much lighter and nicer to ride. Still not the exact spec i would like but i'm getting there. The frame is short and i havent had chance to weigh it yet but i'll put it up when i do. Ask if you want to know about anything Anyways enjoy.
  11. These are comp forks? I've personally never had a problem snapping forks. But i would still not run such compy forks, or a front hs 33 Riding street as well.. hmm. I am all up for saving weight, but you need to give it some though in relation to how you ride.
  12. I wold not bodge your brake.. just buy a new lever body. As for cuttin off the corner. Everyone says this i find it weird how that works. sure it does. I just cant bring myself to cut up a mint lever.
  13. It's a good choice if u have more money than sence.
  14. I wouldn't go grinding meat off pesonally.. i'd try to solve the problem with out the grinder. Your bash does look thick from the pictures maybe try a thinner one?
  15. That made me chuckle. You are right though. I personally find it boring all doing the same thing. I'd rather find new lines on things i've already done. Still each to there own.
  16. i have to have my finger on the front lever as well. All the people i ride with do as well. Just feels wrong if i dont. I can choose not to pull it though. Mostly i dont give it a thought and i think i pull it in Weird really. Most people do it though i think.
  17. Exactly what i thought. I hate the colour though. I'd like to have a go on it to see what its like. But would never have the balls to buy something like that it's tooo different.
  18. Yea it is the 4G he's just being a cock instead on contributing to the thread. Cheers for your reply by the way
  19. Wrong You cannot 'turn up the pressure' that is a constant, you can only improve flow rate with the stop cock. The chances are its fully open and so would not be the problem as it was not doing this before. Being a plumber myslef i'd say the washer is 'jumping' which basically means it could do with a new washer and reseating the tap, this may not work if the seating is screwed. So given the quality of the tap i'd aadvise you to replace it. My reccomendation being a 'FRANKE' tap. Hope this helps/
  20. Learing precise techniques is really good with pallets. Rather than trying to nail the local gaps drops sidehops etc. Set them up for what you want to learn that day. 6 is more than enough to start with. Then when you get a bit better you may need more. Advantages being you dont damage your bike. Pinch your tubes. Doing different techniques with these will really improve your street riding. As you get better at different things you can just up it by one pallet. This is how i learnt to go to front. (although im still not great at it!) Hope that helped.
  21. Bike do float then. I thought i could drop big. Thats insane! Amazing rider!!
  22. looks nice. Fatty R good effort on finding/ having them
  23. Urbans are strong, but just on the heavy side. The heavier it is the stronger in most cases so bear that in mind when choosing your next rim. You might want to look at your spoke pattern as well. Maybe running the wrong one?
  24. Just got my new frame and realised there are no hose guides. Are stick on guides and good? Has anyone used them weith any success? Or should i just use cable ties. I'd rather not waste my money if they are no good.
