Sorry to be off topic. The tire is ace, had a short ride tonight, went from a creepy crawler and weight difference was noticeable on the back wheel. Grip was also really good. Hope it stay that way when its worn in.
I dont really like the look of the zoo! that much that why i went for the echo, however the echo does flex a bit. Unless your a really good rider this wont hinder you too much.
I'm always amazed by your insane ability to gap so far. I'd love to be shown how to go the extra 4 ft! anyways never fail to impress good stuff!
Brake fail at start made me cringe.
Dont mean to through a spanner in the works, but i had a viz! rim on my ko (3 years ago) and had a hs33 (new) with blue rock pads and it was the best brake i've ever had. Sounds like it may not be bled properly.
Good effort. You should come ride the iow on the 31st!
It's a dob magnesium. They weigh basically nopthing i love them. I have only ground it once since i've had the rim. (A month)
So not really a fair test. Personally i think all rims will last ok if they are treated right. Some better than other of course.
I dont drop anything bigger than 6ft on these. Just in case!
Can people who are coming let me know how they are getting here. I cant be in two places at once.
07812 396 056. There's my number in case anyone gets lost or wants to know anything. We'll meet at the 'DRY' end of the pier at 10o clock?
How do you remember that? It was years ago and i never even posted it on here In fact it was the 4th ko in the country
This echo is in a different league ride much nicer and much lighter. +1 for magnesium rims
I have calluces from work. And they help when riding. I wouldnt say gloves stop them, you are quite right. However having them is a blessin imo. I'm not fussed what they look like. I've never had a girl notice
Try puttin a BB spacer on but dont go so tight that you push it off. That should do the trick. My mate has this problem at the mo and he thinks he needs new cranks but in fact he used a breaker bar to tighten his cranks and just pushed the spacer off causing the wobble.
I have a tight and loose point on mine and its really bad. In fact my freewheel skips so often it dangerous. Yea just make sure its not stupidly tight and you will be fine. You should check it every ride. I have to adjust mine nearly everytime. (prob because my fw is so knackered)
