  1. Its people with opinions like yours that really grate on me, you have insinuated that I changed my style because I got a sponsor? Ill have you know that I was sponsored when I was a TGS basher, I rode for toxsin and i rode for adamant and I was a total basher then, a damon watson wannabe would be the best way to put it. I tried to be as go-big as CLS, tunni and damon. I actually only ride approximately 1 competition a year (fort william national) but I do ride alot of natural. Its the most fun you can have on a trials bike (in my opinion) as you can still ride TGS or you can ride with flair. I started to realise that I was bored of riding TGS and when i watched back my old videos I realised just how boring my riding (note: not style) was. I love trials more than most people, I love all aspects of trials and am actually one of few who find bmx quite boring. I decided i needed to spruce my riding up and have more fun when riding, I actually started to ride for myself and not for my sponsor and the last few videos i have made are the result of this. I have never said...."your not proper riders"....i have advised riders to attempt more than just sidehops, however i still appreciate how good some boys are on their bikes (the likes of swindlebum and others) they can go big, much bigger than I can, but i still find their videos a tad repetitive. I like to be enthralled by a video, not bored. I have a saying, that the scottish muckers and I all try and ride by. Anything you want filming you have to be able to get to from the ground. This actually brings about the whole 'lines' aspect of riding. Generally you will see this in most of my recent videos. However it is still TGS, just linked together. If i wanted to be part of the 'cool' gang (another thing your insinuating with your comment) i would ride 24 and be like danny mac. I WAS a TGS basher, but i decided it was not how I wanted to ride, i wanted to ride natural and streety lines it felt more like me. I will repeat this just one more time - I RIDE FOR ME, NOT FOR MY SPONSORS - and thats probably the reason i have the deals i do. To finish - dont go around using my name in vein like you are because your speaking utter bullshit. If you want to ride TGS then do so. If you wannabe riding bmx'y street then do so. If you want to not ride trials at all and ride road cycling naked...then do so. I wont judge you, so dont go around judging me like you are. cheers
  2. or think....i am going to make this.... to quote you ali
  3. total beasts. i love the new mbk. realy nice
  4. TWICE in one day you have made the door hit me....ali....
  5. i didnt listen to it with music as i guessed it would be some hardcore screamy cr*p. Which unless your damon or tunni (and even their videos get muted at my end because the music can be poop sometimes) the hardcore music just doesnt work. tone your music choice to meet with the standard of your riding. If your going to keep that choice of music because you like it, then when the music changes to hardcore film more clips and show four different gaps / drop gaps, watching the same gap four times is bad enough, but three of your views didnt show the size of the gap or drop. Your going to be a good rider, keep it up. Take note of any constructive criticism (which is what this post is) and your videos will improve alongside your riding. dont be offended by what i have said, just an opinion. Also it is personal experience because I used to be a TGS head, with shouty videos that were awful to watch however now....well watch the difference in my latest videos.
  6. cheers for burning me adam . it looked like it needed a specific tool. either way, if its not a bb removal tool thats not use (ALA tensile) then it sucks. in my opinion
  7. each to their own dude.....i think you have been drinking again though...
  8. definitely not...you will puncture pretty much every ride. guaranteed
  9. because when you have had 72 to ride with, its easy to see that 36 is poop. It is easier with more engagements to get the exact foot position you want when your preloading for something, or lining up for something. the less engagements, the more space between engagement. Its hard to explain, but i know what im talking about.
  10. Your bike looks as much fun to ride as a elongated, rabies infested, 3 legged sheep with only one ear to hold onto. Its so long and low.....your going to have no lower back in the near future. Although you seem to be enjoying it and how it rides. So that makes it fine. I also didnt need to see that gap from 4 different angles....it wasnt as good as you made out. sorry dude. Overall, i would improve your editing, but your riding is good
  11. whats the point of these bloody individual tool requirements. pain in the arse.
  12. I know the riding was good from both guys, and both riders could own me in any riding situation whatsoever......however... the editing and video just didnt show the potential of these guys. Andrei you need to just get someone to film for you or at the very least get a decent size tripod.. the angles on some of the shots of your riding are awful. your the uks top ranked UCI rider (from what i have heard / read) so i want to see just how big your going in your riding, cos it looks big from the sh*t angles, so it must be massive from proper decent angles... i still want to see more of both your riding though. please dont take my comments the wrong way.
  13. i have nothing to say other than LOL. ali....im coming to get you
  14. Soup Soup Tasty Soup Soup Spicy carrot and corriander Chilli chowder Crouton Crouton Crunch friends in a liquid broth I am gespatchio Oh! I am a summer soup Mmmm! Miso Miso Fighting in the dojo Miso Miso Oriental Prince in the land of soup
  15. Stick with maxxis. no problems at all, they offer the best grip / puncture / weight resistance combo around. maxxis minion with standard tube is not far different in weight from a conti tyre with a DH tube in it. also the conti's are expensive as buggery
  16. Ankle support means that if you do roll your ankle, the support in the trainer stops you from going tooo far. I know all about this as im a serial ankle roller! I run high top skateshoes and they help with two things.. more support roung my ankles, and stops me from hitting the pistons. I have numerous cuts on my ankles from where i have caught them on the pistons. Ill show you them on the weekend. sorry ross, your speaking pish..... ali - my comment to you is......i have high top shoes and have both ankles working....yours is in a cast
  17. id buy them if they had better ankle protection....
  18. looks good min, you should have put a plate around the bb yoke...as per the topic on OTN. but hopefully it will last until at least the middle of may
  19. Loved this vid ross. Song works well, riding flows, and the only thing that lets you down is the fact you fell off when skidding into the birds. If you didn't fall off then it would be a very good video. Instead....its just good. Probably one of your best i would say.
  20. new website looks really good. thought i would stick it up on here. Really impressed with the new layout, compared to the old one. much nicer http://www.ashtonbikes.com and JUSTICE IS BACK.
  21. Would love to see orange back on the scene...especially with the new and improved ideas they are likely to be able to come up with compared to when they released the zero. GO on ali son, make sure they have a current styled geometry though. 1085 - 1090mm 72 HA +30 - +40 bb 380cs and not stupidly light, because that generally means no strength, and no warranty. 1.8 - 2kg would be perfect. then get a street model with 24 inch trials geo. exactly like the old ET. best 24" geo ever
  22. lol at kenny rolling down the slope at st pauls. What a legend. quality of that video was immense. Mind you it should be considering the file is 180mb. Really enjoyed that min. Couldn't really fault it as a 'documentry' of what happened in london. Danny macs bunnyhop gap...HUGE.
