  1. Some really awesome photos and some of the best angles I've ever seen for a photo to be taken from. Loving them! Can't wait until you have the chance to get some more like these! Good work big fella
  2. Thanks for the kind words John! I'm sure I speak for quite a few people when I say I'm looking forward to you getting back on the bike and also getting some sweet new videos and pictures out. Must be a proper nightmare being out of action so long! Hope the recovery is going well, and thanks for all your help and opinions on various product ideas so far .

Chuffin' Holy Jesus @ Joe!!!! Simply wow!
  4. That's sold me, Pivotal here I come! Looking very nice Dave, pretty impossible to fault it!!!
  5. Cool little vid, nice and relaxing but made me wanna ride! I want your bike! lol And the indoor riding place! Good stuff, I'll be up for a ride soon hopefully .
  6. Awesome snaps Joe!! The weather was definitely kind to you guys too by the looks of it! Hard to beat a photo with a nice bit of blue sky! Loved some of the angles too, and timing was a beast. Very very good work!
  7. Roundabouts I am working on, Swings should be here in time for summer! Just for you Rob!
  8. Various locations around the World. A little bit swings and roundabouts as to what parts are best sourced from what location .
  9. I'm jealous!! Booo, I wanna ride it! The Czar felt light but now, you better tie it down or it'll be blowing away!
  10. Thanks for the positive comments once again guys! Got a ton of things in the pipeline, but with one thing and another it seems like every time I make some real decent progress another snag comes along! Oh well, life's not meant to be easy, and it'll all be worth the hard work and hours of mental gymnastics in the end! Couple more products for you... As ever, keep an eye on Myspace.com/Trialtech for the latest news and updates like...... New site isn't far off now, can't wait!! Someone bring back the warm sunny weather please! A free carbon booster for anyone who does! lol
  11. Hey :). Thanks about the parts! I do still ride yeh, when I get the chance. Give me a shout when you're next out in Notts and I'll see if I can get along :)

    Dave

  12. Might be worth staggering the competitions? Do a mechanic type one imminently and then a technique after that so entries are done in time for summer, so people wanting to really progress their riding when the weather is good enough can watch the technique vids?
  13. I like it! Great idea Tom. I think it would really help a lot of new riders as you say, and probably bring out some video editing skills people didn't realise they had! Would it be 'best video over all' wins or would it be 'best video of a particular move' wins, meaning there would be multiple winners?
  14. Oh go on then! hehe 'UCI' 18t bashring for threaded cranks.... Should be available imminently. There'll be a wider 7075 aluminium version making an appearance pretty soon too . Thanks again for all the positive comments so far, both here and MSN etc. Cheers me up no end!
  15. I'm pleasantly surprised! I'd not imagined a black/pink theme to be a good choice before, but it's come out really well! Good work! I agree about the Hello Kitty sticker, gotta be done! hehe
  16. Did a very quick lyrics search on google... Main options were Rage Against the Machine or PJ Olsson, bit varied! lol Try searching for the lyrics in google and play with combinations of what it could be until you find it, then pootube for the video . Make sure you include the word 'lyrics' in your search or it'll make things harder to find.
  17. Thanks for the comments and taking the time to post. I find your comments on the carbon booster a little strange. Trials specific boosters from Whitehurst and Carbonique were cut from pre-formed sheet, so didn't make the most of the material's capabilities. There was the Onza carbon 4bolt booster which was a good effort, but the shape bas a little questionable in terms of extracting maximum stiffness-weight ratio. I'd say carbon boosters have been done yes, to death no, and I'd definitely argue strongly that they haven't been done to this level before . Hopefully some of my future products will be more to your liking. Dave
  18. Thanks for all the positive comments guys!! Glad to know I've started on the right lines. Thanks to Ben Travis for answering Shaun's post too . Plenty more stuff in the pipeline, just keep your eyes peeled for cheeky preview pics appearing on the interweb
  19. Unlucky dude! Get yourself on to Si-Physio dude, quickly too (like now/today). Or just get to a local physio, preferably one specialising in sports injuries. Trust me, it needs to be done, and get it x-rayed before you see a physio. If you don't get it sorted in the next couple of days you could live to regret it for years (no bullsh*t, I left mine and it caused me 2 years of paaain when I did anything other than walk). There's a few people on the forum who will agree with me I'm sure, get it sorted asap or I'll put money on you regretting it later on. Hope it's nothing too serious, good luck with it. If you wanna chat more about it or want an arse kicking until you see someone about it.... msn me davecz1@hotmail.com Dave
  20. As a few of you may have seen from myspace.com/trialtech, a new trials parts company from the UK has been shaping up over the past few months. Formed and run by myself (Dave Cleaver, most of the people will know me from my days working at Tarty Bikes or more recently from launching the Inspired Bicycles Fourplay frame), Trialtech is a sister brand to Inspired Bicycles. There are a lot of great plans to be put in to action over the coming weeks, months and years. Being involved in trials in both a riding and business sense for quite a few years now, I'm hoping to bring to the market a range of parts that has an attention to detail and consistent level of high quality that only someone looking at the products from the point of view of a rider could. With the help of some of my best friends from both riding and within the 'industry', I am really looking forward to releasing a wide range of products, from some dependable 'value for money' based products, all the way up to some innovative designs and technologies not seen before in parts design specifically with trials in mind. There has been a lot of hard work put in to Trialtech and more specifically its products, and these efforts are starting to get to a stage where products will become available at various UK and European retailers. A new website is currently in development, but for starters I have created a few little summary images to introduce the first products being released. Latest addition to the range... Keep an eye out for more new product news on the myspace.com/trialtech pages for general news about prototypes, dealers and sponsored riders etc as well as news regarding the new site launch. Happy Riding! Dave
  21. As others have mentioned Pat Donovan or Scott Wilson are the men to speak to about experiences in travelling from the UK. I am sure the info they could offer would be well worth listening to, sound blokes too so they won't mind you interrogating them about it. Dave
  22. Awesome post dude! Some very valid points and a pretty fair review of the two bikes all-round.
  23. Awesome vid stan! Can't believe how smooth you were on some of those lines, even though I've ridden with you tons of times!! Some great riding and nice to see plenty of locations, really made me want to ride!! Dave When can I come for a ride in your car?
  24. As well as considering a new cable you should check that the lever arm on the caliper isn't bent and rubbing on another part of the caliper. I have seen it happen to a few people's brakes (including mine). Check that and if it is that gently gently bend it back away from the caliper. If it isn't that then new cable time will improve the brake's performance a million times Dave
