  1. Shit day overall yesterday, bird gave me a ticket to hers, turned out to be the wrong one (expired) argument ensued, for no reason as it really wasn't an issue, spent an hour on the train with a bunch of cretins racking up and discussing how best for one of them to get an abortion, I got pretty pissed off and mentioned it in a text - apparently being annoyed by other people is wrong 'why are you so uptight about it?' because they're cunts, obviously, got on the wrong train at london bridge, ended up at Westbourne Park, took me n hour to get back to Sidcup, conversation pretty much went 'want a drink? i'm going to bed, gotta be up early' and she's just left for 12 hours at work without so much s saying goodbye. All in all, i think i'm in for a pretty f**king sweet weekend.
  2. or you could just not be a cunt and say 'hey, about this - i'm not sure what you think but i'm not down for x'
  3. Turns out shearing part of a propshaft UJ on the move is quite an exciting experience.
  4. How has everyone overlooked the fact that Inur has finally posted a pic of his missus? That's great stuff though dude. I've got some fun news about my Landy, finally found out it's original registration and it turns out it's not on anything... Not been transferred off, just got lost over time. LFO 822 could be MXL 654 by the end of the year, awesome.
  5. correct on both counts! Just looked them up, they actually are both taxed 'til the end of the year so the owner's not forgotten about them. Just been doing a little research and it turns out the 80" which is now mostly a tree is actually a 1949 - I want it so bad.
  6. Technically they kind of do have T+T...
  7. I'm waiting on a call, but I think i've just accidentally two more Land Rovers.
  8. What type of pump is it? With the Bosch ones you have to take a cap off to get to the important bits.
  9. thats what i'd like to do in the landy - just wire in some speakers with an aux cable but i am beyond shit at wiring (see previous fire-related posts )
  10. it's just a thing isn't it haha! On a different note, It had an informal valuation done yesterday by a mate in the business - replacement cost for insurance should be at about £12k for it. Unreal how the prices of these things has gone up in 5 years. Cannot get my head around the current market for series ones.
  11. How do you wire one of those in, Paul? Also, mag shoot; Due out next month i think, can't waaaaaaait.
  12. the cable ties are in place of a jubilee clip - i'll be amazed if that holds out for much foot-down action.
  13. Tow car of the year 1952 strikes again. This guy had been waiting 2 and a half hours for the AA with a broken gearbox, gave him a tow across town to his farm. Gained a mate, 30 quid, a cuppa, the earth connectors I need to fix my melted wires, played with some Rottweiler puppies and subsequently met a guy in town who has the rare as f**k press for my rear axle bearings. Good morning was had,
  14. congrats dude! great stuff.
  15. just set my sidelights on fire. sweet.
  16. Caster looks really low on that? My land rover's 3 degrees and it's twitchy as f**k at speed. Wouldn't surprise me if it's set like that to feel nimble out the factory but it's gonna be doing you no favours in a short light car when you're on a motorway or something.
  17. Sorted the brakes out again, bonus. Last weekend really put the Landy into perspective and my god it's a dog compared to the others in our group. It's getting bolted together properly and having a few quid spent on it - need a gearbox and a turbo too which is fantastic, further shopping also includes and overdrive and a heater before winter comes. But first, i'm throwing a whole bottle of polish at it. I like it ratty but it really does just look shit most of the time, matt grey green is lame and really lets the whole thing down given how much work's gone into it. Needs more, but it's coming up surprisingly well.
  18. Looked forward to an event this weekend for the past 6 months, decided to bleed the brakes friday afternoon as the brakes were a bit shit. Bubbled up more than Snoop's bong, master cylinder shat it's pants. Bernard is not in the good books right now.
  19. yep, that's made the decision-making a million times harder. nice work mate, very nice work...
  20. is that a full length sunroof?!
  21. aaaaaaah I see. I read it as split clamps resulting in levers moving or something, I have no idea how I managed that.
  22. They're very under-rated guitars, those - the one I messaged you about is an early 90s Squier strat and it's still one of the best players i've ever picked up.
  23. Foxy's got it. I'm just here to give you some massive respect for using the term zap tap, not heard that in years.
