Diesel's are a weird one Jake, the TDI in my Landy's about 150bhp and that weighs a tonne - the thing shifts pretty well even with the 31" tyres on it. They just aren't as much fun to drive though. Have you driven any non-slow petrol cars? Capri's not exactly fast, but i'd take it any day over how the landy and any other diesel i've ever driven, well, drives. I find you're just always chasing revs that aren't there when you try and drive hard (that said, my 200tdi's been one of the best in that respect). Thought about an economical petrol?

Oh, speaking of diff questions... I think my planetary gears are on their way out. Bit of a rubbing sound on tight corners and when jacked up, both wheels are turning the same way (it's an open diff so shouldn't be doing that, shirley) If i drive it another (very gentle) 200 miles or so 'til I can get a replacement in, am I going to be killed?

Mate of mine's after a late 1.8, do you have any suggestions for where to find one, or breakers? Also; turbo people. I'm thinking of giving the Land Rover some love. It's currently got a T25 on there and i'd quite like to up the boost a bit, what would be a good upgrade? Could I put a T28 on from a 200SX or similar? Am I right in the bolt pattern for the manifold would be the same, or is that some non-information i've picked up along the way?

Usual crock of shit to be honest Dave; missus is f**king loopy and needs her head looking at, this house is vile, i've got a tonne of work on so not been out much bar yesterday, haven't seen any of my housemates in about a week as they're either never here or are completely reclusive and act surprised to find you in the corridor.
