While i'm at it, i'm thinking of heat wrapping the manifolds - i've heard a lot of people saying not to do it to mild steel pipes but surely it cant be that ruinous, especially if i treated them first?

My Land Rover is genuinely frightened of new people. Only times it's let me down are; Mates birthday, shat its master cylinder. Ace Cafe christmas do on friday, shat its lift pump. Bypassed it, drove like shit struggling to pull 50mph, drove perfectly all the way home at 70+ Going to work with a new client today, refused to do 30mph as soon as we got to the dual carriageway, turned around, 60mph down the country lanes all the way home. This car is a f**king bellend.
