  1. What if it's not? Do I need a bigger size? Thanks
  2. Ah, okay then. Took the old crown thing off and I think this is the right one for the headset? And assuming it is how do I get it to the bottom of the steerer without damaging it? I've tried a screwdriver and hammer but any other suggestions? Thanks Right crown race for the Echo headset?
  3. Basically, I'm thinking I need the correct size crown race. Here's some pictures and I'd like to remind you I'm awful at all mechanical things. I also have a little bearing thing that's got a gap on presumably to help get it on the steerer, where does this go? Thanks
  4. I wasn't aware you know the majority of people on facebook, most people I know either like it or aren't too fussed about it. You know it's under profile pictures where it says Write On Wall now?
  5. I'm trying, but I'm also awful with computers. Basically now what it seems to be, is that I can se the crown race under the headset. Should that be so? Thanks
  6. Nice to see the Tartybikes crew are riding proper bikes again Good video and jazzy bike
  7. Hello I'm slowly becoming less nooby at mechanics but having problems swapping forks. I've got an Echo headset which I assume is sealed as I can't see the bearings. I took my forks of my old bike and when they're fitted they're able to wobble from side to side slightly and they're the right diameter. Above the crown of these forks, is the crown race (or so I think) and when fitted in the frame it is exposed. Should it be able to slide in the gap between the steerer and the headset? Thanks
  8. Depends if your counting the risk taking element as talent, but I assume when people try big stuff they'll measure the risk and that it's going to be slightly more likely than not that they'll make it. Like for Danny Mac's front flip drop, he'll have tried that on a foam pit or something and knew his success rate was good enough to be able to do it off Edinburgh castle. But yea, the best riders seem to have a good technique to balls ratio.
  9. Loved that, and the ending. I assume you didn't leave after him?
  10. I don't believe in natural talent for bike sports, sure there's fitness and balance but those sort of things are improved with practise. Unlike running where people are born fast no ones born ready to ride a bike up a 50" wall. And you also shouldn't worry about how long things take, once you start thinking 'I'm not good enough for how long I've been riding...' that seems to launch a mindset about trials were it doesn't become so much about the fun or challenge of it but more about 'training'. Or that's just how I see it, for some people that might be where their motivation comes from.
  11. Wrote on his facebook he was leant the Hex, don't think it's anything more but it's not like anybody would have a reason for telling me.

    Films!?

Is Frank's purpose in it to guide Donnie into getting rid of the Artefact? So Donnie isn't actually crazy it's just the tangent universe guiding him to destroy it. I was shocked that the rabbit suit was actually a suit, I thought being part of his imagination there wouldn't actually be anything under there. And just noticed Monkeyseemonkeydo's avatar, how long's that been like that?

Anyone seen Donnie Darko? I think it's amazing and it's one of those movie that you actually need to think about quite a lot. Anyone know the significance of Frank?
  14. Really liked that, looks like you've settled into it quickly
  15. Not crying about it, just pointing out the flaws in his logic.
  16. It's still stupid though. Your bike broke so you instantly decide that the best option is to try and break it more. Just makes no sense.
  17. Roughly every month for me, even if it doesn't work well it might as well be reasonably clean.
  18. So it's okay to be romping with corpses as long as your listening to metal music?
  19. Unlucky, but throwing your bike isn't going to fix it
  20. Much proffered the Sos3 bonus to the original. Lucky with the backflip bail
  21. Looks amazing and like you did a good job on the painting of it.
