  1. Pitbull even :o" Pretty sure it won't fit a Python, but will fit a Pitbull :)
  2. Sweet. Crazy riding. It's mad. I'd hate to think what that looked like in the flesh if it looked that big in a video :) And that place looks ace :o" Do you know if its around the same place as the climbing spot?
  3. Isn't it 26" including the tyre? ;)

Ritchey WCS Truegrip Foam grips are the nicest grips I've used by far. From Wiggle, £7.99. Truely ace, So comfy, Ride Gloveless with no pain, Ride for ages without sore hands, Truely ace, I'll never go back. WCS Ritchey for trial grip comfort power.
  5. Least it's not just Rim Jams >_< Damn it, they literally just fell apart as I took my brake apart.
  6. Really sweet video! I wasn't really into the music, but that's personal preference. Video-wise though, awesome! You had some really sweet angles in there, and a lot of sweetly lit shots. Really mellow. Well worth the download! Awesome
  7. Yo, just found this: Save target as From Koxx Days 05. Bit of everyone really. Done by a guy called Bjorn. Dunno if it's new, but I've not seen it before :P It's pretty good though :D

    Headcam

I think they were mainly designed for police and CCTV use, but being so handy, sports use soon developed. T'is all cool :D
  9. Pork Pie

    Headcam

Probably mixed up here, but are you talking about a helmetcam? Like an add on 'lense' that connects to your ordinary camcorder and can be put on your helmet? Try www.sports-camera.com if so, maybe completely OT though :D
  10. Pads: Heatsink New Gen Whites Time used: Going on 1 month and a half, quite a lot of riding in that period too. Rim used: 38mm BMF Grind: Yes Brake used: Magura, Water bled, Gone back to just a maggie booster, no V- booster. What is your opinion of a working brake? Alot of lock, alot of bite, not alot of modulation, loud, consistant. Previous pads: Whatever the types of Magura pads are, Monty Hydras, Koxx Bloxx, Plaz Crm, Tartys. How do they compare to previous pads you have used: Dunno really, they're nice when they decide to work, but just aren't as consistant as I'd like. Review: Bedding in was kinda wierd. They started off almost silent, so my thoughts were they were bedding in. But, they stayed silent for ages. The setup is nice, all flat against the rim. The brake just wouldn't get any louder, but still worked very well. It had a lot of lock, and a fair amount of bite, although it was kind of hard to tell as they were so quiet. After alot more riding, the brakes seemed to very gradually get louder, to the point where they were very loud. I really liked them like that. They had a lot of bite, and a lot of lock. All good stuff. However, they have recently gone downhill. Which is wierd, the grind is still quite sharp, the pads are still in the same, nice flat position. They just seem to have gone back to being silent, and a bit crap :P Not alot of lock or bite anymore :P Which is wierd. I have been riding in alot of sandy, and dusty conditions recently though, which might be playing a big part in 'getting into' the grind. So a good clean is in order me thinks, as the grind is still quite sharp. Anyway, Wear rate is good :D Still a lot of pad left, as in 6-7 mm which I'm happy with. Overall, they were good, I'd just like to see a more consistant, reliable brake.
  11. Good stuff Simon :) I was tempted to just take it down myself and let people pass it round MSN or something. Ta :) Jonny, it was really wierd. In the view finder, it looked awesome. And then I captured it and it was super dark :) So yeah, I'm sure actually its capable of much better stuff :)" Looking forward to seeing Simon and Jonnys anyway  Ta, Dave
  12. Oh, well in my media player its stops as you are jumping up  Oh, it works now :">
  13. Did you make it Adam? I found I couldn't do it at all with a rear brake on. Without it, you can really flex the buggery out of everything, and really squidge your tyres, and then basically jump and it doesn't actually take that much effort. It was a really awkward feeling at first though, but keep practising using the guidelines up top somewhere, and I'm sure you'll get it soon :P
  14. That was awesome. You are insane though Stan ;)" Sweet video!
  15. Fair enough Jonny, Ive never actually heard the DJ shadow track being used before, so I wasn't really to know (Y) As said earlier, I really do apologise for the audio. It was hard, in that my hard drive was full, as in 400 meg left on it by the time everything had been captured. I even had to resort to exporting the Movie to the backup. So it was kind of hit and miss first go. It ended up in me thinking the actual video was OK, but I agree, the audio is crap. Cheers for the advise though! The brightening up issue. It was already heavily brightened. As in, some parts had brightness of up to 70 in some parts! Appeture and white balance and my lack of the camcorder I was using were to blame methinks. If i'd have brightened it up anymore, it would have just looked stupid. Sorry about that. I completeley can't see much justification in you being pissed off that I've released a video. It's not only you who's making them you know. I'm sure there'll still be plenty to come out. And to be honest, why is editing going to be any harder? Unless you were going to use the same tracks, which I doubt. You also were getting completely different angles to myself, so yeah, why this release has pissed you off is beyond me. Getting it together in such a short time was just because I thought anyone that didn't have the chance to go, could see what went down. It's obvious that no hardcore editing's gone into this. It was my intention to just keep the tapes until the summer, as there's a few plans that are floating around in my head, which will hopefully result in something. Alison and Sonja both know this, they also know that an internet video may well come out. I apologise for whatevers pissed you off, but if it's just because this has come out before yours, I see no need for you to get pissed. You knew before you went that other people would be filming. Alison and Sonja have been notified by the way ;) Sorry if it sounds like I've got a crappy attitude, I don't mean for that to come accross at all! I really enjoyed talking to you actually, seemed cool ;) I was the bloke with the PD150 by the way (Y) Anyway, sincere apologies for whatevers pissed you off. Hope it hasn't done too much! Ta though, Dave.
  16. Hey, I was going to wait until a website has been launched to bring out the video, but as people have said, it'll probably be old news by then. Basically, 'Counterbalance' is myself and a mate, who like making videos. May not be too good at making them mind:p but we like doing it. Ranging from trials, to kayaking, to climbing etc. We're hoping to bring a site out soon, but I'm not actually sure how 'soon' soon is. So yeah, the bikeshow vid; Firstly, I just want to say a huge, huge thanks to Simon at Trials-Shack. Who else do you know who is willing to host a 300 Mb vid, Legend! Yeah, so 300 Mb, mpg format, 30 minutes long. Filmed on the Saturday. 5 DV tapes worth :P Really sorry about the audio. It was fine in premiere, but once exported, it seems really fuzzy in the loud parts. Kinda painful:p Also, the video seemed better in Premiere:( Dunno why, but it's probably having a smaller window to see the video, so doesn't seem as shaky. More excuses :-" : I was using a camcorder that I've never used before, and kind of screwed up the white balance, hence it being really bright in the white bits (Y) I had appeture in manual too, and didn't know how to use it properly :-" But yeah, just thought the tinternet might like to see a video. It's not a final edit or anything, keeping the DV tapes for future plans and stuff hopefully :P Being 3ccd and broadcastable, they may come in handy :P I just hope 30 minutes of one day doesn't drag on too much. It probably will though:p Once again, big ta to Trials Shack. Trials-Shack Link. What a guy! Let me know what you think, constructive critisism is awesome. Ta, Dave
  17. Looks like I missed the first train :S Meaning I get into Lancaster at 12.22, and then just miss the Morecambe train so can't arrive there until 13.30 :P Neer mind, see you later on
  18. Bloody hell Ben. You're gonna be a bit knackered :P Cya there everyone
  19. I thought it was really good actually. Probably one of the best I've been to. Nice meeting Jonny Jones and Nick Goddard too. Seemed cool I thought the riding was pretty immense actually, although the course wasn't up to previous years' standards. Didn't see that backflip coming :) . Hop Idol was good too. Some good riding from them. All in all, 'reet good day (Y) Edit: Sounded like a wanker
  20. Pork Pie

    Mmm... Rocks

Hey, Just clearing loads of footage before the bikeshow and the result has been this: Trials-Shack linky Riders are: Ben (Slingshot) Carl (trials_star17) and me. Anything you've got to say wanted :) Ta, Dave Edit: 66mb or something, .wmv (Y) Music is two songs from Athletes album 'Tourist'.
  21. Is that on a British clock? I'll be there at 11.25 (Y) But soft grips + skatepark = fun. So it'll be 'reet :)
  22. The Levelboss is sweet. I really like the design, aesthetically anyway. We shall have to see how it holds up. Don't like the mods though (Y) Enough of the Koxx bashing too, It seems they've come up with something original, and good on them  Psychic: Mark, I mean as a whole, not in this thread (Y)
