    My Photos

I love this one (Y) You've certainly got some talent (Y) Quality photos :-
  2. It was awesome Boon! Loving you're style! Strangely catchy song too :"> Any idea if you're planning to do any other videos some time soon? Ta, Dave

Pretty sure I'm the rider geeza :D Edit: And thanks alot for the comments. I'm really liking still photography at the moment, and I think your photos and Chris Ratcliff's have been a big inspiration (Y) Infact I've just got a Mechanical (?) SLR from Oxfam really, really cheaply. So more manula type photos should be on there way, instead of the above which is just like a point and shoot digi cam. So yeah, thanks, hehe :D

Yo, myself and a mate went on a photo mission yesterday, so got a few pictures. Not brill or anything, but it made a change from video, so yeah. Any thoughts and stuff? Best policewoman ever! (Y)" Ta, Dave

    Something new would be nice
  6. Sweet video geeza ;) Loving your style, it has to be said. How's the suspension going for you overall? Anywhoos, yeah, I liked it. Relaxing in a way. I didn't really see any super dooper angles and stuff like in some of your other vids, but it's a curb, so there's not really much you can do. I thought the editing was pretty good too  Cool beans (Y) And I hope the whole BikeShow issue's sorted :-
  7. OK, so it's that time of year, where all the exams are just around the corner. And it seems some of us have really been lazy this year, and have fallen so far behind because of thinking we can get away with it until later (Y) We've had all these talks and stuff about revision techniques and stuff, but it's at the stage now (and I'm sure lots of others feel the same way) where I don't actually care about properly 'learning' the stuff I need to know, I just need to memorise it til next Tuesday. I feel like such an idiot for turning to an internet forum for revision advice, but you know, only certain techniques work for people. So basically, what I'd be interested to know about is techniques that we can use just to learn something off by heart by next Tuesday. Has anyone got any super dooper techniques that they found worked very well? Err, yeah, don't really know what to say, but any techniques you have would be much appreciated. Probably rambled on a lot there. Ta, Dave
  8. Best one so far " And a first ever edit, err  , awesome. Sweet riding aswell, you both have quality, and innvovative styles. Sweet :S Anyway, don't really know what to say, except it's winning for me so far easily :( Dave
  9. Whilst were on the subject (" ) what did people think of mine? Too long and boring? Ok? Just interested :P Can't wait for you twos' vid :P The place can't be that bad if it has a curb ;)
  10. They're called Heatsink 'Konig' pads: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....cmd=si&img=7967 Should be no more falling off backings, because of the new backings, and precision moulded pad. Seems sweet, we'll have to see how they go anywhoos
  11. Pavement video thingy Mines done. I have loads of stuff to do though, which need a big hardrive, so yeah, its not had much time taken over it, so it's not very good (Y)" Like 3:10 and 26mb. And I'm shit at this kind of thing :"> I love watching 'proper' street, but when you get out there and try it, its a bit harder :(" So non-fluid riding took over (Y) But whatever, I'm gonna buy a Mars bar anyway (N) Ta, Dave
  12. Yeah, I don't have any thin curbs near me, so used a pavement type thing. Hope that's OK? Also, I imagine it'll be like 3mins long, can we say no time limit, just don't download it if you don't want to? Whatever though, I'm not really in it for a mars bar (Y) Just a bit of fun. Hence why I think it shouldn't be a long video comp type thing. Maybe this could spark something towards another real video comp? Ta, Dave
  13. Sounds ace. I'm up for it. Whens the 'deadline'? :">
  14. Looks really nice. Is the bb really +60 though? Or is that just OTN? It doesn't seem 60mm up (Y) But whatev, it's a picture I suppose.
  15. Haha, you find anything in Kendal? (Y) You were on your own? 'Fraid I can't make it this weekend to Penrith, although could well be a possibility soon
  16. Don't have a clue about a stem, but Onza Carbon bars are the best bars I've evr had full stop >_< Do you have any Pirate Memory Games?
  17. It's Martyn :D" And he's done it on a 26" Justice aswell as the ET :P
  18. What did the fish say when it swam into a wall? Dam :">

    Front Hops

Do what you're doing at the moment, but pull back, inwards to your body a bit more than usual, and twist the bars just before you exit the ground type thing, as you lighten the weight on the front, if you see what I'm saying? And to keep it, you just need to keep pulling the bars back into your body. Also, keep thinking of yourself like chucking your legs out sidewards, to reinforce the circle motion type thing. Kind of :D
  20. Having the balls to do stuff like that is a skill of its' own. It's really annoying people don't see this kinda thing. It might not need a lot of 'technique', but it needs guts. Not alot of people can chuck themselves off stuff the size he does. I bet if "you wanted" you wouldn't actually throw yourself "off a cliff and intentionally land back wheel first and make a landmine sized crater with the front wheel". I highly doubt it. I bet you wouldn't even do it on a Karpiel :P Don't want to sound like a tit, but he deserves respect for doing huge stuff, just as Simmons and Berrecloth deserve respect for being tech. It's like the whole UCI vs Street thing. You don't have to ride one or the other, but you can respect it for what it is surely. The whole "they look shit when riding" thing, and "Shit BMX is shit" and "UCI is for gays" is bollocks. Why can't we just ride for the sake of it, christ.
  21. I think you may be onto a winner with those two. Will the signing up bit have a charge on it? I think maybe a very small charge could be a good idea, like £2 per quarter or something. Small enough to mean a lot of people will be up for it maybe? Review bit's cool too :) D/ling limits sounds cool. Is there anyway to tell how many d/l's per hour there is on files at the mo? One of the popular ones? Anyway, I'd be up for those ideas of yours :( Can't think of any others though :"> Dave Edit: Doesn't make sense, its late :ermm:"
