Don't look ideal to me but have no experience of them. I just run Holy Roller 2.4s on my Arcade, paid about £17 per tyre I think.

BMX cranks on an Inspired Arcade???

If it's an option go for Adam's slitting option- if you ever want to get it off you'll thank him! -
Congrats! If you want to get her on two wheels a bit sooner these are where our boys started: Though probably worth running the fork the right way round...

But was the cops life in danger? Not on the slightest. In situations like that I don't get why the police aren't trained to shoot a leg or something to incapacitate. There was no need to kill the dude.

Gah, cunts attacking police in London piss me off so much... I know the majority are just football hooligan twats who are just there for a ruck but the police are on such a tight leash they can hardly do anything to protect themselves or their colleagues...

Sack the stabilisers off! Easiest way is definitely to go straight from balance bike to proper bike without stabilisers getting in the way. Both of our boys were riding the 12" Hotrock without them from 2 years old.

I'm not feeling well... I've gone n-1! Sold the Ribble R872 road bike yesterday! It probably hasn't been used for 12 months and was just taking up space really. I bought it new for £1200 in 2013 and got £800 for it which I reckon is pretty good going!

But you are getting out to go for walks or on the bike or something aren't you?...

Flipped the bushes this afternoon and went for a quick blast this evening and I don't reckon it's worth it. No major problems (it's surprising how well a 10 speed cassette works with 11spd shifter and mech! The minimal misalignment was hardly noticeable! BB definitely a bit on the low side (clipped a pedal a couple of times) but beyond a bit more arse clearance the ride didn't change a hell of a lot. I guess because the chainstay length doesn't change it wasn't that different in terms of manuals or bunnyhops etc. Will put it back to 'normal' tomorrow

I've been lucky (in a way) that our house extension has been able to continue during the lockdown (builders are a father/son pair with local self-employed subbies) which has kept me busy in painting and decorating duties (yay). Also having the kids (5 and 7) has kept us busy keeping up with their school work. It's only fairly minimal, reading and then maybe an hour or so work every day, but keeps structure and it's good to be involved a bit more with their education. Apparently we're in the minority though. In my youngest's class he's one of only four who are actually doing the work set by the teacher. Some people really aren't even trying! Work-wise I've not had to do much so it's not far off being furloughed on full pay so really not complaining at that! We've been making the most of the nice weather and exploring a lot of the local paths and trails near us that we never even knew existed so that's been cool. I've also been keeping myself busy with little projects- making my own Freebord from longboard bits, castors, 3D printed risers etc., ripping out the decking in the garden and repurposing it into a platform to sitck our hot-tub on, making 3D printed hammer attachments for my Leatherman Skeletool, making some Prusa faceshields for the local ambulance people... next challenge is to try and craft a brake onto the little one's mini Rocker BMX to add a little safety... Starting point is a classic cruiser caliper brake which has sufficient drop to hit the rim (hopefully) and going to 3D print a drill jig to help drill the seatstay bridge. Not a project but also ordered an Aerosteeze for the kids to use on the trampoline. They're currently only £39 which seems pretty reasonable considering what you're actually getting! Wife reckons that schools may be opening on reduced capacity from the 1st June but who knows... Keep safe peeps!

I've actually got offset bushings in it at the moment to drop the BB after upping the front travel from 130-150mm so I could pull those out to pop it back up a bit... Trying to decide if it's a just a shit idea at the moment! Going out with the kids over lockdown I've been messing around lots though and feel like this might just make it a bit more 'toy like' for the moment.

May have to go out and have a play with it in one gear to see how it feels (10 speed cassette with an 11 speed shifter/mech)...

Why do I have a weird urge to make a mullet bike by putting a 26" rear wheel on my Whyte T130?... Just for shits and giggles, you know?

I read that somewhere but couldn't find it on the .Gov website when I looked... Our local pump track (nowhere near as awesome as yours) is currently closed off, though it is in forestry land. We got moaned at by some old dude a few weeks back (who had driven to the woods to walk his dog when driving definitely wasn't allowed) but we just ignored him. I was guessing it was more for the potential to do yourself an injury reasoning rather than social distancing specifically.

My sister's in Singapore where wearing a mask is compulsory in public except for when undertaking 'strenuous' exercise so she's just running everywhere!

My vote goes on dangerous fucktard.

In what way? Financially?

To be honest I'm pretty 'meh' about the whole thing again. https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/The-evidence-on-Covid-19-is-not-as-clear-as-we-think

Eventually they'll get a vaccine which they'll be able to give to the most vulnerable like normal flu. I don't think we'll see these restrictions again for the same virus.

I thought the orange tosser had repealed that, good job if not! I'm wishing I'd got a haircut a couple of weeks back... trying to decide whether to trust the Mrs with the clippers. First world problems eh?!

Ah, yeah, sorry- I meant joists!

I did something kinda like that in a really cheap, basic way... Bought something like these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/TooTaci-Bicycle-Storage-Utility-Hangers/dp/B07GTGF6KV/ref=sr_1_63?dchild=1&keywords=garage+hook&qid=1585082940&sr=8-63 And then screwed them into the rafters in the garage fairly close to the wall and hung the bike front rims from them so I could have my Echo 20", Inspired 24" and road bike above with the BMX, jump bike, mountain bike and Mrs' MTB underneath on the floor. Also used a few more to hang the boys' BMXs and trials bikes. Worked pretty well to be honest and didn't cost $300 ;).
