Scopse's one is good because the font is a professional looking one, nice and straight forward. The slight italics conveys a swift service, and if the logo can hint at the shine the car will have at the end, then perfect! Your current one is the worst of the pack IMO. The haphazard font hints that it'll be a slap-dash job, and it uses too many colours. For the ultimate in professional images, choose the logo that works great in one or two colours, get a few Tees printed up (via any online Tee printing place), and turn up with a snazzy logoed van and matching Tee. Hi everyone, Thanks for the positive responses! The Tees are yellow because my previous ones were yellow I was just keeping to a pattern to help riders recognise these in a sea of other Tees. Like with the Trashzen Tees (These Tees are actually printed at the same place!), I can actually offer a service of getting you one printed in any colour from a vast range of 27! Naturally I would gather up any orders for custom colours and the size (sizes given on my site) and get them all printed at the same time. It typically takes 10 days to get them printed. I look forward to your further responses, Steve P.S. Hugh, I'm glad you like it! Any chance of a photo of the Tee being worn? QUOTE(hugh_b @ Jul 31 2007, 01:15 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Got mine today guys, all i can say is PIMP, the yellow actually looks really nice, well on me anyway :$ hehe.Great quality and a real bargain at that price too!

I got Dave85 (Edd Potts) to make up a simple design of mine so I could run 24" wheels on my 26" Base frame I had. Maybe he could do the same for you? I've got a list of design improvements I will be passing onto him so future versions he makes can be better. Steve

He'll have to keep an eye on the headtube to top/down tube join. The design is pretty, but it's a much weaker version of the Koxx XTP style join, ie. the extra cross members removed. Now you've got two cantilevered beams in parallel, with minimal metal in the vertical direction where it's needed.

Without a track record of running a business that you can show them, I would talk about your strength in being a keen photographer in touch with what the UK market is looking for. Tell them that from the market research you've done there is a great opportunity for both them and you here and that you are the best person to make a success of this niche in the quickest time possible whilst being a joy to work with. You must enquire about their minimum order quantities, postage arrangements their price list for distributors, and whether it would be possible to have exclusivity on UK supply (worth being cheeky, it may pay off!) You may find like me that at the beginning people don't even reply to your emails. It's the same for all of us though, and before long they'll be biting your hand off for you to carry their products! Apparantly Firefox can be configured to run it. This link gives info: http://louk.solidworks.com/htdocs/pdownloa...cs/Browsers.htm Well worth it! I'll get some more juicier stuff up soon so it'll be a nice to have it all working. Steve

I don't know how long it's been possible to embed the viewer in a web browser, but it's pretty neat! You can view comments I've added to the model, add your own text/arrows/sketches, rotate, zoom, do cross-sections, put stamps across it (I was expecting someone would post an image with Internal Use Only" stamped across it), put the model in autoplay where it animates between the views AND even save your file in numerous formats! The key thing that's disabled on purpose is the measuring option. No need to speed up the time until the next Far Eastern copy emerges! Steve

I've just added a new feature to my site. A browser embedded 3D Cad viewer which allows you to have a play! I'd love to hear what you think of this new idea, ^Click Image for Link Steve

A Few Questions On Heatsink Cnc'ed Backings
Heatsink replied to Ryan Blackwell's topic in Trials Chat
To hep answer some of the questions that crop up, I've just written a guide to using the CNCed backings I'm giving away some of my pad making secrets in order to help everyone to get the most out of HeatsinkBikes CNCed Aluminium backings for either Magura or Vee brakes http://www.heatsinkbikes.com/?p=padsguide Thanks again to Janson for his help. I tried the method he suggested for removing pads from their plastic backings (added to the guide) and it gets my stamp of approval! I hope this helps! Steve -
You've repeated my spelling mistake :$ Great looking bike! Steve

A Few Questions On Heatsink Cnc'ed Backings

The Heatsink pads are red again I'm a bit behind in updating the CNC pads photo on my site :$ Steve -
This is exactly how the RAC unlocked my Fiesta Mk4 a few years ago when my keys were locked inside, pulling the door handle from the inside with some wire after using an inflatable bladder (Just remembered they inserted some plastc wedges too - door stops?). You can no doubt buy these inflatable beasties somewhere (won't inner tubes just inflate outside the pinched area) and they have the advantage of being much gentler on the car door than jamming something with sharp edges in there. Can anyone find one to buy online? Could be worth keeping one for the odd day when I lock my keys in again, or it could be the spring board for a life for crime! Steve

http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=breaking+...a+car&hl=en All the links to this are blocked from my work! There's got to be a way to do it without breaking glass, but I guess you should impose a time limit to look into it, before going and smashing the small window in the front door. You could decretely block it up with something whilst you get sorted a replacement. I locked the keys in my Laguna once along with my son! He pressed the central locking button when the keys were in the ignition. The rear window was down by about 1 inch and I was able to pull the top of the glass to create a large enough gap for Callum to pass me the keys. I had a rock in my hand ready to carefully smash a window, but fortunately wee Callum understood what I wanted him to pass me! Steve
